Commercial Freezers Introduction:
Commercial Freezers - are designed to be exposed to a much hotter kitchen envroment and to have the door opened at more regular intervals exposing them to the busy working envroments heat. Commercial freezers have a much stronger compressor as they need to repidly cool down the commercial freezers internal temperature to replace extra hot air from the commercial kitchen.
Fans are also fitted into most commercial freezers to evenly spread the cool air to all the large cabinet, domestic freezers do not have this extra feature which is essential to an commercial freezers envorment. Better insulation is also used on commercial freezers, they are designed with easy cleaning in mind and some have the option of electronically recording temperatures (this is so that if a food poising claim is made it can be used as proof of due dilligence in food safety procedures).
