churchill-raku-rectangular-tiles-140x376mm-pack-of-4
Churchill Raku Rectangular Tiles 140x376mm (Pack of 4)

The Churchill Raku Rectangular Tile is a large-format porcelain serving piece from Churchill's Raku collection, available in Quartz Black and Topaz Blue. The range draws its aesthetic from traditional raku firing techniques, and the finish carries natural variation in tone and surface texture, meaning no two pieces are identical. This is an inherent characteristic of the range rather than a quality concern. The result is a tactile, handcrafted quality that works well both on the pass and in the dining room.

The generous rectangular format suits sharing plates, charcuterie, tasting plates, multi-element starters and mains, and structured dessert presentations where a defined canvas helps the kitchen communicate its intent clearly. The dark Quartz Black finish provides useful contrast against lighter garnishes, sauces, and microherbs, while the Topaz Blue glaze shifts in depth and tone across the surface. Porcelain construction supports standard commercial dishwasher cycles and holds up well under regular service use.

A few practical points worth considering before ordering:

Natural surface variation in tone and texture is inherent to the Raku finish, not a defect

The large format is better suited to sharing or multi-component dishes than single-portion plating

At 942g per piece, carry weight is worth factoring in where staff are handling multiple covers

Sold in packs of four, which works for both initial trials and topping up existing stock

The Raku range sits comfortably in casual fine dining, modern bistros, tasting-menu and sharing-plate concepts, and any venue where tableware forms part of the overall dining experience without tipping into formality. Operators running very high-volume, rapid-turnover covers may find the format less practical as a day-to-day workhorse. If you're building a coordinated table setting or want to discuss how different pieces within the Raku range work together, the team is glad to help you think it through.

https://www.advantage-catering-equipment.co.uk/products/churchill-raku-rectangular-tiles-140x376mm-pack-of-4
