nordlux-arki-20-wall-light-galvanised-steel
Nordlux Arki 20 Outdoor Wall Light Galvanised Steel IP54

The Nordlux Arki 20 is an outdoor wall light finished in galvanised steel, designed by Bønnelycke MDD as part of the Arki series. Its dome-shaped shade draws on classic architect lighting references, keeping the form simple and unfussy — well suited to entrances, terraces, driveways, and building façades where a clean, considered finish is wanted without an elaborate fitting.

The galvanised steel construction is part of Nordlux's Designed For Seaside range, meaning the material is selected specifically to hold up in harsher coastal environments where standard fittings tend to deteriorate more quickly. Over time, the finish will naturally develop a darker patina through exposure — a characteristic of the material rather than a fault, and one that gives the fitting an authentic, weathered quality as it ages.

Practically, the fitting accepts an E27 bulb to a maximum of 20W, which gives some flexibility over light output and colour temperature depending on the bulb chosen. It supports dimming when paired with a compatible dimmable bulb, and parallel connection capability makes it straightforward to run multiple fittings from a single circuit across a larger external area. The IP54 rating provides reliable protection against dust ingress and water splashing from any direction, covering the typical demands of a covered or exposed outdoor position.

This fitting is well suited to residential and light commercial exterior applications — particularly in coastal or exposed settings where durability is a priority. If you are specifying for a larger scheme or have questions about suitable bulb types and dimming compatibility, the team is happy to help before you commit to a quantity.
