At 390ml, the double old fashioned size sits comfortably across a range of serves: spirits over ice, water, soft drinks, or short cocktails. The tinted glass gives the range character that suits relaxed dining rooms, bar counters, and outdoor terrace settings without feeling forced or themed.

For front-of-house use, the Cidra handles everyday service well. The profile is straightforward to stack and store, and the glass is solid enough in hand without being heavy or cumbersome for staff to handle at pace. It is dishwasher safe, which matters when covers are turning quickly and glass throughput is high.

Practical points worth noting for operators:

Dishwasher safe, holds up to regular commercial glasswasher cycles

Supplied in a pack of six, suited to topping up existing stock or starting a new range

Available in green, grey and pink, so you can pick the finish that suits your setting

Broad, stable base suits bar counters and outdoor table service

Versatile enough for water, spirits, cocktails, or soft drink service

These are glassware items rather than equipment, so there are no installation requirements to consider. The main practical question is whether the pack size and colour suit your current cover count and table setting. As with all coloured glassware, it is worth checking compatibility with your glasswasher chemistry and cycle temperatures before committing to large volumes. For high-volume venues running large glass banks, the pack-of-six format is best treated as a supplement or replacement stock rather than a full house set from a single order.

The Cidra works well in independent restaurants, casual dining venues, bars, and bistros where a relaxed aesthetic is part of the offer. It is less suited to formal fine dining environments where clear crystal-style glassware is the expectation.

If you are building a glassware range or want to discuss quantities that work for your cover count, the team is happy to help you think it through.

https://www.advantage-catering-equipment.co.uk/products/onis-cidra-double-old-fashioned-tumblers-6-pack
