Parry HOT12BM Bain Marie Topped Hot Cupboard Mobile

Product No: HOT12BM

Product Description

The Parry HOT12BM is a 1200mm wide mobile hot cupboard with an integrated bain marie top. The cupboard interior is designed to hold plated meals at service temperature, while the bain marie top accommodates gastronorm pans — making it a practical dual-function unit for operations that need both plated plate storage and heated food holding in one piece of equipment. Castors are fitted as standard, so the unit can be repositioned between prep areas and service points as the operation demands. Gastronorm pans and any gantry shown in product images are not included.

In a busy service environment, the HOT12BM earns its place on the pass or in a servery by keeping plates and food at consistent holding temperatures throughout service. The thermostat-regulated interior maintains heat across the full cabinet, which matters during extended service periods when door opening frequency is high. The three perforated internal shelves provide good air circulation and are each supplied in sections to make removal and cleaning straightforward. The double-skinned doors are also removable, which simplifies end-of-service cleaning considerably.

From an operational standpoint, the main practical advantages of this unit are:

  • Mobile on four castors, two of which lock — useful when a fixed position is needed during service
  • Bain marie top with capacity for full-size and fractional gastronorm pans alongside plate warming below
  • Removable shelves and doors reduce the time and effort involved in daily cleaning
  • Thermostat control across the whole cabinet supports consistent holding without manual monitoring
  • Slimline 1200mm footprint suits tighter pass and servery layouts

The HOT12BM runs on a standard single-phase electrical supply and requires a suitable socket in the intended service position. Because it is mobile, there is no fixed installation — though the locking castors should be engaged once positioned for service. Ventilation requirements are minimal for this type of unit, but it should be sited with reasonable clearance at the rear and sides to avoid heat build-up in confined spaces. The bain marie top will require filling with water before use; operators should factor in access to a water source nearby when planning where the unit will operate.

This unit is well suited to restaurants, hotels, banqueting operations, and contract catering environments where a mobile hot holding solution with built-in bain marie capability is needed. It works particularly well in operations running buffet or carvery-style service, or where plated meals are assembled away from the main kitchen and held for service. For higher-volume sites or operations requiring a larger holding capacity, a heavier-duty or wider-format unit may be a more appropriate choice.

If you are unsure whether the HOT12BM is the right fit for your service setup or volume, the team is happy to talk it through with you before you commit.
