The Kubus KHDL3 is a drop-in heated serve over counter designed for assisted service applications. It sits flush into a pre-formed cutout in a countertop and provides a fully heated display zone for holding and presenting pre-cooked hot food at the point of service. The unit holds three 1/1 GN pans in a stainless steel base well, with an inclined presentation angle to improve visibility for both staff and customers. An adjustable heated midshelf at eye level extends the available display and merchandising space without adding to the counter footprint.
In a busy service environment, consistent holding temperature is critical. The KHDL3 uses modular heater mat elements beneath the well to distribute heat evenly across the base, reducing the risk of cold spots that are common with single-element designs. Infrared quartz heat lamps housed in the gantry and midshelf provide surface heat and product illumination simultaneously. The unit is factory set to hold food core temperature at 85°C and is suited to continuous 24-hour operation where required, making it a practical choice for counters that run through extended service periods or overnight.
