Victor BL70H1 Banquetline 70 Heated Banquet Cabinet

Product No: BL70H1

Product Description

The Victor BL70H1 Banquetline 70 is a British-made heated banquet cabinet designed for holding large volumes of plated meals or gastronorm containers at consistent serving temperatures. Built from stainless steel with a robust all-round bumper, heavy-duty castors, strong door latches, and adjustable hinges, it is constructed to withstand regular movement and the demands of high-volume service environments.

The BL70H1 shares the same floor footprint as the smaller BL50 series but stands considerably taller, giving it close to 50% more usable capacity. The shelf arrangement is designed to accept full GN1/1 containers directly on the bracket supports, removing the need for additional shelf inserts and keeping the interior flexible for different service formats. The cabinet holds up to 80 plated meals on 10-inch plates or 32 full GN1/1 65mm deep pans, making it a practical choice for banqueting operations, large restaurants, and events catering where consistent food holding across a full service period is essential.

From an operational standpoint, the unit offers several practical advantages:

  • Runs from a standard 13-amp supply and arrives ready to use with a moulded plug on a curly cord with plug park
  • Microprocessor control panel with external digital temperature display for accurate, visible monitoring
  • Factory set at 85°C, operator-adjustable between 65°C and 95°C to suit different menu requirements
  • Integral water reservoir in the base supports humidity-assisted holding, helping food quality over extended service periods
  • 150mm heavy-duty castors, two of which are braked, for controlled movement around service areas

Installation is straightforward — the BL70H1 requires only a standard 13-amp socket, with no hardwired electrical connection, specialist ventilation, or plumbed water supply needed. The castors make repositioning simple, though the overall height and weight of a fully loaded unit should be considered when planning service routes and storage. Doorways, service lifts, and corridor widths are worth checking before ordering at this cabinet size.

The BL70H1 is well suited to hotels, conference venues, event caterers, and larger restaurant operations where high-volume plated meal holding is a regular requirement. For smaller operations or those with more modest throughput, a lower-capacity model in the Banquetline range may be a more practical fit. Equally, for very high-volume banqueting or multiple simultaneous sittings, it is worth considering whether additional units or a higher-capacity model would better match the demand.

If you are unsure whether the BL70H1 is the right capacity for your service volumes or want to discuss how it fits into your existing operation, the team is happy to talk it through with you.
