Product Description
The Cambro Camrack is a polypropylene glass rack designed around a straightforward principle: glassware should move through a commercial kitchen — from wash to storage to service — without being handled more than necessary. This 16-compartment blue rack accommodates glasses up to 238mm in height and forms part of Cambro's broader 4-in-1 system, where the same rack is used for washing, storing, identifying by colour, and transporting glassware.
In a busy bar or restaurant environment, that continuity matters. Glasses go into the rack dirty, through the glasswasher in the rack, out onto the shelf in the rack, and back to the service point in the rack. There is no intermediate transfer step, which reduces handling time, breakage risk, and the chance of contamination between wash and service.
- Colour-coded blue for fast visual identification across a multi-rack system
- Compatible with Camdolly transport dollies and Camrack covers for a complete handling system
- Polypropylene construction withstands repeated glasswasher cycles without warping
- 16 individual compartments protect glasses from contact with one another during transit
- Stackable design supports efficient storage in tight back-of-house spaces
This rack is well suited to hotels, bars, restaurants, and event catering operations running high volumes of glassware through a single glasswasher. The colour-coding system is particularly useful where multiple rack sizes are in circulation and quick identification is important during a busy service. For operations handling very large or unusually tall glassware, it is worth checking whether a different compartment configuration would be a better fit before ordering.
If you are building out a full Camrack system or are unsure which combination of rack sizes and accessories suits your service volume, our team is happy to talk it through with you.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Yes — the Camrack system is designed so that glassware is washed, stored, and transported in the same rack without being transferred between steps. The polypropylene construction handles repeated glasswasher cycles reliably, though you should confirm the rack dimensions are compatible with your specific machine's internal clearance before first use.
- Cambro produces Camracks in multiple colours, each typically assigned to a different glass size or rack configuration. In a busy bar or hotel operation running several rack types simultaneously, colour coding allows staff to identify the correct rack at a glance without reading labels — which is particularly useful during peak service when speed and accuracy both matter.
- It is commonly used in event catering alongside a Camdolly and Camrack covers, which together allow large quantities of clean glassware to be transported and stored ready for service. For very high-volume sites cycling through hundreds of covers per sitting, it is worth considering how many racks you will need in rotation to keep pace with your washer throughput — our team can help you work that out.
