Unlike conventional chemical-only washing systems, Granuldisk's approach combines a small quantity of detergent with these patented granules, which are circulated through the machine's high-pressure water jets to create a rapid mechanical scrubbing action on pots, pans, and gastronorm ware.

The cleaning method works by delivering a very high number of impacts per second across the surface of the wash ware. This physical abrasion, combined with the chemical action of the detergent, breaks down stubborn food residue more effectively than water and chemical alone — without the need for soaking or pre-scrubbing by hand.
