The head unit sits atop the bin to form a self-contained ice production and storage system, suited to operations where consistent, high-volume ice output is a daily requirement rather than an occasional need.

In a busy service environment, the IDT0620A is capable of producing up to 207kg of dice ice over a 24-hour cycle, with the paired D420 bin holding up to 140kg in reserve. That combination means ice is available throughout a full service period without relying solely on real-time production. Dice ice is a practical, versatile format — well suited to drinks service, blended beverages, and food display — and the Indigo range is known for producing a consistently clean, clear product.

A mains water connection and a suitable drain are required. The unit uses R-410A refrigerant, so installation and any subsequent gas work must be carried out by an F-Gas registered engineer.
