Chargrills

A commercial chargrill is an essential piece of restaurant equipment and will cook a variety of foods to perfection. You can choose between counter-top or free standing models.

Char grills or char broilers as they are sometimes know will help you achieve a smoky, char-grilled flavour with steaks, chicken, and fish and will also put enticing grill marks on sandwiches and vegetables.

A chargrill is basically a firebox with a top grate of cast iron or steel on which to broil or char-grill food.  The top grate itself becomes very hot and is designed to add sear marks to the food which is the chargrill “signature” or trademark.
