Product Description
This is a free-standing eight-compartment locker unit from Elite, constructed from powder-coated steel with a sloping top profile. Each compartment is secured by a manual combination lock, removing the need for keys or padlocks and reducing the day-to-day administration that comes with key management. The blue powder-coat finish is applied to a welded steel frame with reinforced doors, and the sloping top discourages items being left or stored on top of the unit.
In busy staff areas, the absence of keys is a practical advantage. Combination locks mean new staff can be given a code rather than a physical key, and there is no cost or delay associated with lost keys or lock replacement. The welded plinth between compartment doors adds a degree of inter-compartment rigidity and makes forced access more difficult. The antibacterial coating is effective against common pathogens including MRSA and E-coli, which is a relevant consideration in food preparation environments, healthcare settings, and anywhere hygiene standards are formally maintained.
- No key management — combination locks reduce ongoing admin and replacement costs
- Antibacterial coating supports hygiene compliance in regulated environments
- Sloping top prevents accumulation of items above the unit
- Reinforced doors add resistance to daily wear in high-traffic areas
- Pre-drilled rear fixing points allow the unit to be secured against a wall
The pre-drilled rear holes allow the unit to be anchored to a wall, which is worth factoring in at installation stage — particularly in locations where the unit may be subject to repeated pulling or where a fixed position is required for health and safety compliance. At 1950mm in height, the unit will suit standard ceiling heights without issue, but access and doorway clearance should be checked before delivery is arranged.
This unit is well suited to staff changing areas in catering and hospitality environments, sports and leisure facilities, schools, and healthcare sites where hygiene is a consideration. The eight-compartment format suits small to medium teams. For larger sites or higher-volume changing facilities, multi-bay configurations or deeper-compartment alternatives may be more appropriate.
If you are unsure whether this format suits your space or the number of staff you need to accommodate, we are happy to talk it through before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Yes, it is commonly used in catering and hospitality environments. The antibacterial coating is a practical advantage where hygiene standards are formally maintained, and the combination lock format suits shift-based teams where key management is impractical.
- The unit can stand freely, but pre-drilled fixing points are provided at the rear to allow it to be anchored to a wall. For safety compliance in busy changing areas, wall fixing is generally advisable, particularly for taller locker units of this height.
- Eight compartments suits smaller teams or situations where lockers are shared across shifts. For larger sites or where dedicated storage per staff member is required, a multi-bay arrangement or a unit with more compartments would be worth considering.
