Product Description
The Cambro Camrack is a purpose-built glass rack designed to handle glassware through the full cycle of a commercial operation — from the glasswasher through storage and on to service. The 36-compartment red rack accommodates glasses up to 238mm in height, making it suitable for a wide range of tumbler, stemware and pint glass sizes commonly used in bars, hotels and catering operations.
Where Camrack earns its place in busy kitchens and bars is in the way it consolidates four separate handling stages into one piece of equipment. Glasses loaded into the rack go straight into the glasswasher, come out clean, move into storage, and can be transported directly to the bar or service point without ever being handled individually until they reach the customer. In high-volume environments, reducing unnecessary touchpoints in glassware handling is a genuine operational gain — it speeds up turnaround, reduces the risk of breakages during transfer, and lowers the chance of recontamination after washing.
- Eliminates the need to unload and reload between washing, storage and service
- Red colour coding supports organised, consistent back-of-house systems
- Polypropylene construction is robust, lightweight and dishwasher-safe
- Compatible with Cambro's Camdolly and Camrack cover for full system use
- Reduces glassware handling and associated breakage risk during service
The rack is made from polypropylene, which holds up well to repeated commercial glasswasher cycles and is easy to keep clean. The red colour coding is useful where multiple rack types or sections are in use — it helps staff identify the correct rack quickly without relying on signage or instruction.
At 500mm square, the rack is sized to suit standard undercounter and pass-through glasswashers, though it is worth confirming compatibility with your existing machine before ordering. The system works best when paired with a matching Camdolly for transport and a Camrack cover to protect clean glassware during storage — these are available separately. For very high-volume sites processing large quantities of glassware across a shift, it is worth considering whether a higher-capacity rack configuration would better suit your throughput requirements.
If you are setting up a full Camrack system or want to confirm the right rack size for your glassware profile, we are happy to talk it through before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions
- The Camrack measures 500mm square, which aligns with many standard commercial glasswashers, but basket dimensions do vary between manufacturers and models. It is worth checking your glasswasher's internal basket clearance and maximum load height before ordering to confirm the rack will sit and run correctly.
- Yes — the Camdolly and Camrack cover are sold separately and are not included with the rack itself. For the full four-stage system to work as intended — washing, storing, identifying and transporting in one unit — you would need all three components. If you are building out a complete Camrack setup, we can advise on what you need based on your volume and operation.
- Cambro produces Camracks in several colours specifically to support colour-coded back-of-house systems. In practice, operators use different colours to designate rack types, glassware categories, or service areas, which helps staff work quickly and consistently without confusion during busy periods. If you are running multiple rack types, having a clear colour system in place from the outset makes day-to-day organisation noticeably easier.
