At 165mm, it sits comfortably as a bread plate, amuse-bouche base, or side dish in a plated service environment. Churchill's Super Vitrified body is a material commonly specified for high-turnover restaurant and hospitality use. It absorbs very little moisture, which supports heat retention during service and reduces the risk of bacterial ingress into the clay body over time. The combination of thermal shock resistance and a hard Eco glaze makes these plates well suited to the mechanical demands of continuous dishwasher cycling and the occasional knock of a busy pass or service station.
