EAIS Club Epoxy Coated Tray Clearing Trolleys

Product No: CTC-1X10

Product Description

The EAIS Club range of epoxy coated tray clearing trolleys are purpose-built for food service environments where trays need to be collected, transported and managed efficiently between the dining area and the servery or wash-up zone. Constructed around a tubular steel frame with a durable epoxy coating finished in black as standard, these trolleys are designed to handle the regular wear that comes with busy canteen and dining service.

In practice, these trolleys are well suited to continuous use through a lunch service in a school canteen, a staff dining facility, or a coffee shop where clearing speed matters. The universal wire trayslides accept a wide range of standard tray sizes, and the guided entry design helps staff load trays quickly without misalignment — a small but meaningful advantage when clearing tables under time pressure. Stops are incorporated into the trayslide design to keep loaded trays secure during transit.

Practical operational benefits include:

  • Choice of 10 or 12 tier configurations to match service volume and available storage space
  • Single or double unit options, allowing clearing capacity to be scaled to the operation
  • 125mm non-marking castors with two brakes, giving stable positioning at the wash-up station or in the dining area
  • Bumpers fitted as standard, protecting both the trolley and surrounding surfaces during movement
  • Epoxy coated steel construction that resists the knocks and moisture typical of a busy clearing environment

These trolleys require no installation in the traditional sense — they arrive assembled and ready to use. It is worth considering floor surfaces and doorway widths, particularly for the double unit, which is considerably wider than the single. The 125mm castors handle smooth to moderately uneven surfaces well, though heavily ridged or outdoor surfaces are not ideal. Tier pitch varies between the 10 and 12 tier versions, so if your operation uses deeper trays or laden plates consistently, the wider-pitched 10 tier option is worth considering.

These trolleys are most commonly used in schools, staff canteens, and coffee shops operating standard tray-based clearing systems. For very high-volume operations — large contract catering sites or busy refectories clearing several hundred covers per service — a heavier-duty or higher-capacity model may be worth exploring.

If you're unsure which configuration suits your tray type or service volume, we're happy to help you work through the options before you order.
