Product Description
The EAIS PDB-7 is a full-height stainless steel trolley designed to store and transport dishwash baskets within a commercial warewashing area. Built from welded stainless steel tube frame construction with one-piece formed sides, it provides a stable, robust solution for managing basket flow between the wash and service areas. The trolley accepts 500mm x 500mm dishwash baskets, which are available separately.
In a busy kitchen pass or pot wash area, managing basket queues efficiently reduces bottlenecks and keeps the warewashing cycle moving. The full-height format maximises vertical storage in areas where floor space is tight, allowing multiple loaded baskets to be staged without spreading across the work area. The 125mm non-marking castors make it straightforward to reposition between dish return, the machine, and the clean end — without scuffing floors or requiring excessive effort to move even under load.
Key practical advantages for the kitchen team include:
- Welded trayslides with end stops keep baskets secure during movement
- 200mm pitch between levels accommodates standard stacked crockery loads
- Non-marking castors protect tiled and resin floors
- Full stainless steel construction supports regular deep cleaning routines
- High load capacity per unit suits sustained service periods without the need for constant unloading
No power, water, or drainage connections are required. The main practical consideration is ceiling clearance — as a full-height unit, access routes including doorways and pass-throughs should be measured before positioning this trolley within a workflow. For kitchens with very low suspended ceilings or restricted access corridors, a mid-height alternative may be more appropriate.
This trolley is well suited to mid-size and larger operations running continuous warewashing — hotels, contract caterers, busy restaurants, and event venues where basket management is a genuine operational challenge. For smaller sites with lower throughput, a compact or mid-height model may offer a more proportionate solution.
If you are fitting out a warewashing area and want to confirm the right trolley configuration for your layout and basket volume, our team is happy to work through the options with you.

Frequently Asked Questions
- No — the PDB-7 is designed to accept 500mm x 500mm dishwash baskets, but these are sold separately. It is worth confirming the basket type you are currently using before ordering, as basket dimensions can vary between manufacturers.
- As a full-height unit, ceiling clearance and doorway height along the intended route should be checked before installation. If your kitchen has low suspended ceilings, bulkhead lighting, or narrow access between the wash area and service area, a mid-height trolley may be a more practical fit.
- The number of baskets depends on the loaded height of each basket and the trayslide pitch. The 200mm pitch between levels is suited to standard dishwash basket loads, and the trolley is built to handle substantial cumulative weight across the full height of the unit. For high-volume operations running back-to-back wash cycles, having two trolleys — one on the dirty side and one collecting clean baskets — is a common and practical approach.
