The Hatco DL-725-CL is a decorative radiant heat lamp designed to keep plated or carved food warm at servery counters, waitress pickup stations, and front-of-house carving points. Unlike enclosed holding equipment, it works through overhead radiant heat, making it well suited to open servery environments where food needs to be held briefly at temperature while remaining visible and accessible to staff or guests.

In busy service environments, the lamp performs a straightforward but important role: it bridges the gap between kitchen preparation and the moment food reaches the guest, reducing the rate at which dishes cool during plating, carving, or self-service. It is commonly used in hotel buffet and carvery settings, banqueting operations, and restaurant pickup counters where aesthetics matter as much as function.

The stock version is finished in glossy grey and supplied on a fixed cord length of 1,168mm from ceiling rose to the base of the shade. If a longer or shorter drop is needed, or if you require a different finish or shade style, these can be sourced to order — though a lead time of approximately six weeks should be expected for non-stock configurations.

This lamp is most suitable for front-of-house servery points, carvery stations, and pickup counters where a degree of visual presentation is expected alongside practical heat retention. It is not a substitute for heated holding cabinets where food needs to be kept at temperature for extended periods. For higher-volume or more demanding holding applications, alternative equipment may be more appropriate.
