The Blue Seal GT60 is a floor-standing single pan gas fryer built for sustained use in commercial kitchens. It uses Blue Seal's patented Vee Ray infrared burner system, which heats the oil from below through radiant panels rather than conventional tube burners. This design reduces the amount of exposed heat surface in contact with the oil, which has practical implications for oil life and frying consistency during busy service periods.

In a working kitchen, the GT60 is well suited to operations where frying is a core part of the menu rather than an occasional requirement. The large open pan design and substantial oil capacity mean it can handle continuous throughput during peak service without the recovery delays that smaller fryers often suffer.
