Scotsman ACM127 Self-Contained Ice Cuber 75kg/24hr

Product No: ACM127

Product Description

The Scotsman ACM127 is a self-contained ice cubing machine that houses both the ice-making head and storage bin within a single freestanding cabinet. It produces Scotsman's characteristic clear, thimble-shaped supercubes — a dense, slow-melting format that performs consistently well in drink presentation and quality, and is commonly specified in bars, restaurants, and hotel service points.

For mid-volume operations, the ACM127 is well suited to maintaining reliable ice availability across a full service day without manual restocking from a separate storage unit. The integrated bin removes the need to specify additional storage, keeping the overall footprint compact. One of the more practical design elements is the front-to-front airflow system, which draws air in and exhausts it from the same front panel. This makes enclosed and built-in installations viable where rear or side clearance is restricted — a genuine advantage in tight bar back-fits, service counters, and refurbished spaces where the layout is already fixed.

From a day-to-day management perspective, the ACM127 is designed to reduce routine maintenance effort:

  • Front-access condenser filter, removable and washable without tools, simplifying in-house cleaning
  • Front-panel controls and a maintenance alert light, so the machine can be monitored without repositioning
  • Dampened disappearing storage door, reducing wear from repeated access during service
  • AgION antimicrobial agent embedded in ice-contact plastic components, providing passive protection against microbial growth
  • Patented anti-scale water system, offering protection for internal components in moderate hard-water conditions

Installation requires a mains cold water supply, a drain connection, and an appropriate electrical supply. Although the front-airflow design supports built-in fitting, the front panel still requires sufficient clearance to function correctly — restricted airflow will reduce output and shorten component life. In hard-water areas, a suitable inline water filter is strongly advisable and is relevant to warranty validity. If you are unsure about local water hardness, it is worth establishing this before installation is arranged.

The ACM127 is well suited to restaurants, bars, hotels, and hospitality venues with consistent, moderate ice demand throughout the day. It is not designed for high-volume sites supplying multiple service points simultaneously — in those situations, a higher-output machine with a remote condenser is likely to be a more appropriate choice. Equally, if your daily ice requirement is modest, a lower-capacity model within the range may represent better value.

If you would like to talk through whether the ACM127 fits your operation and installation setup, our team is happy to help you work through it before any commitment is made.
