Product Description
The Cambro Camrack is a polypropylene compartment rack designed to hold glassware securely through the full cycle of a busy bar or kitchen operation — from the glasswasher through to storage and back to the service point. The blue 25-compartment version accommodates glasses up to 279mm in height, making it suitable for a wide range of tumbler, wine, and stemware formats commonly used in licensed premises and catering operations.
What makes the Camrack practical in a real service environment is that the same rack does the work at every stage. Glassware goes in dirty, travels through the glasswasher inside the rack, dries in the rack, and is stored or transported in the same unit. That removes the repeated handling that causes breakages and slows down bar and kitchen teams during busy periods.
Key operational advantages include:
- Eliminates multiple transfer points — glassware stays in the rack from wash to service
- Colour-coded blue construction supports easy sorting and stock rotation across sites
- Polypropylene construction withstands repeated commercial glasswasher cycles
- Stackable format makes efficient use of storage space behind the bar or in a pot wash area
- Reduces glass breakage by limiting manual handling between wash and service
The Camrack system is designed to work with compatible Camdolly transport dollies and Camrack covers, which allow fully loaded racks to be moved and protected between areas. If you are setting up a complete system, it is worth considering how many racks your peak service volume requires and whether a dolly and cover are needed for your layout.
This rack is well suited to bars, hotels, event catering operations, and licensed restaurants that run high glass turnover. For operations with larger or unusually tall glassware, alternative compartment configurations and height capacities are available within the Camrack range.
If you are unsure which rack configuration or how many units your operation needs, we are happy to talk it through with you.

Frequently Asked Questions
- A useful starting point is to calculate your peak glass turnover per wash cycle — how many glasses you need clean and ready at any one time — then add enough racks to cover the wash cycle time plus drying and transit. Most busy bars run multiple racks in rotation so that clean stock is always available without waiting on the glasswasher to finish.
- The Camrack is designed to pass through commercial glasswashers, but you should confirm the internal basket dimensions of your machine against the rack footprint before purchasing. Most standard 500mm square basket glasswashers will accommodate the Camrack, but it is worth checking clearance on height as well, particularly if your glasswasher has a fixed chamber height.
- Colour coding in the Camrack range is a practical feature rather than a purely visual one. It allows operations running multiple rack types — for different glass formats or different areas of the venue — to keep them sorted without labelling or guesswork. This is particularly useful in high-volume or multi-outlet sites where racks are moving across several locations during service.
