Vestfrost W45 Undercounter Dual-Zone Wine Cooler – 45 Bottle

Product No: W45

Product Description

The Vestfrost W45 is a compact undercounter wine cooler with two independently controlled temperature zones, allowing red and white wines — or sparkling and still — to be stored correctly at the same time within a single cabinet. It holds up to 45 standard 750ml bottles and is designed to sit beneath a bar counter or back-bar surface, making it a practical option where space is limited but presentation still matters.

In a working bar or restaurant environment, the dual-zone configuration means staff are not forced to compromise on serving temperature. Whites and rosés can be held chilled while reds sit at a warmer holding temperature in the adjacent zone. The low-vibration compressor helps protect wine quality during storage, which is a genuine operational consideration for establishments holding bottles over longer periods. Internal LED lighting and smoked-glass door make the unit presentable for front-of-house positions without requiring a separate display unit.

Key operational features include:

  • Two independently controlled temperature zones for mixed wine storage
  • Low-vibration compressor to protect wine during extended holding
  • Smoked-glass door with aluminium trim for front-of-house display
  • Wooden-trimmed shelves suited to presentation environments
  • Built-in heating element for use in cooler ambient conditions

The W45 runs on a standard single-phase electrical supply and is designed for undercounter installation with adequate ventilation clearance around the unit — check the installation requirements carefully if fitting into a tight built-in void. It uses a hydrocarbon refrigerant, which carries a lower environmental impact than older refrigerant types. The unit weighs approximately 55kg when empty, so positioning and access should be considered prior to installation.

This cooler is well suited to bars, restaurant dining rooms, hotel rooms, and smaller hospitality venues where a modest but well-presented wine selection needs to be held at correct serving temperatures. It is not intended for high-turnover bottle storage where a larger freestanding or multi-door unit would be more appropriate. For venues with significantly greater wine volume or throughput, a higher-capacity model is likely to be a better fit.

If you are unsure whether this unit suits your layout or service requirements, our team is happy to talk through the options with you.
