Polar G-Series Back Bar Cooler with Hinged Doors 330Ltr

Product No: GL004

Product Description

The Polar G-Series back bar cooler is a triple hinged-door bottle chiller designed for front-of-house display and service. Built into a painted steel cabinet, it holds a substantial number of bottles across six adjustable shelves, keeping contents chilled and visible behind double-glazed glass doors. It operates using R600a refrigerant, which runs quietly and efficiently, and maintains a temperature range suited to chilled drinks service throughout the trading day.

In busy bar environments, consistent temperature and reliable recovery are what matter most. The G-Series is designed to hold its chill even during peak service when doors are opened frequently, and the 32°C ambient rating means it can cope with warmer back bar environments without the unit struggling. The LED interior lighting keeps bottles clearly visible without generating the heat that older fluorescent fittings tend to add to the cabinet load.

From an operational standpoint, this unit brings several practical advantages to bar teams:

  • Six adjustable shelves allow flexible configuration for different bottle heights and formats
  • Double-glazed doors reduce cold loss and condensation on the glass during service
  • Energy-efficient LED lighting keeps running costs lower than traditional strip lighting
  • Hinged doors provide full-width access for rapid restocking during service breaks
  • User-friendly controls mean staff can monitor and adjust settings without specialist knowledge

Installation is straightforward for most back bar setups. The unit is freestanding and requires a standard mains supply. At 80kg it will need two people to position safely, and adequate clearance at the rear and sides should be maintained for ventilation. The 1350mm width means it occupies a meaningful run of back bar space, so it is worth confirming the available footprint before ordering.

This cooler is well suited to pubs, bars, and hospitality venues with a consistent demand for chilled bottles throughout service. It works particularly well where bottles need to be on display as well as kept cold. For lower-volume operations or tighter spaces, a smaller two-door alternative may be more appropriate, while very high-throughput venues running extended hours may benefit from a heavier-duty commercial specification.

If you are unsure whether this unit is the right fit for your bar layout or service volume, our team is happy to talk it through with you before you commit.
