Product Description
The Instanta 95620 is a genuine replacement filter cartridge designed for use with Instanta water boilers. It supersedes the earlier AQ35SP filter and is compatible with any Instanta product that previously used that filter head, whether built into the unit or fitted externally via an AQ35SP filter head. For boilers without an integrated filter housing, it can be installed externally into the mains water feed using the appropriate installation kit.
In a busy commercial environment, water quality has a direct effect on the flavour of every hot drink served. Chlorine and other taste and odour impurities are common in mains supplies and will noticeably affect the quality of tea, coffee, and other hot beverages if left untreated. The 95620 addresses this through a four-stage filtration process that removes fine sediment, chlorine, and other impurities, including microplastics down to a very fine particle size, leaving water that tastes clean and neutral.
Beyond drink quality, the filter plays a practical role in protecting the boiler itself. Limescale accumulation is one of the most common causes of reduced efficiency and increased maintenance costs in commercial water boilers. Fitting and replacing this filter on schedule helps extend the working life of the equipment and keeps energy consumption in check.
- Removes chlorine taste and odour, improving beverage quality
- Four-stage filtration captures fine sediment and microplastics
- Reduces limescale build-up to protect the boiler and lower maintenance costs
- Compatible with Instanta filter monitors for timely replacement reminders
- Pre-filter stage removes debris before it reaches the boiler
Instanta recommend replacing the cartridge every six months regardless of usage. Using non-genuine filters is not advised, as it may affect boiler performance and could have implications for your warranty. The 95620 is compatible with all current Instanta water boilers.
If you are unsure whether this filter is the right fit for your existing Instanta equipment, or whether an external installation kit is needed for your setup, the team is happy to help clarify before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Instanta recommend replacing the 95620 cartridge every six months as a standard interval. In sites with very high water usage or particularly hard or soft water, it is worth monitoring filter condition more closely, and using a compatible Instanta filter monitor can help flag when a replacement is due.
- Yes. For Instanta boilers without an integral filter housing, the 95620 can be installed externally into the mains water feed using the appropriate Instanta installation kit. If you are unsure whether your current boiler requires this approach, it is worth confirming your model before ordering.
- Instanta advise against using non-genuine filters, as they may not perform to the same standard and could affect boiler performance or void your warranty. The 95620 is engineered specifically for Instanta equipment, and using the genuine part is the most straightforward way to protect both drink quality and the boiler itself.
