Installation requires a level floor capable of supporting approximately 350kg loaded, adequate clearance around the unit for airflow and door opening, and a suitable electrical supply — your installation team will confirm exact requirements during the included site survey. The unit is supplied and installed by Polar's professional installation service to mainland UK locations, which covers delivery, fitting, and commissioning. If the room is to be installed outside, a weatherproof roof panel is available separately and should be considered. Racking and shelving are not included and are sold separately.

This size of walk-in is well suited to mid-sized catering operations — hotel kitchens, school or hospital catering facilities, pub kitchens with significant frozen stock requirements, or food production units where a chest freezer or upright cabinet no longer meets volume demands.
