The Steelite Revolution Sandstone coupe plate is a 152mm side or starter plate made from vitrified china and finished with a hand-applied reactive glaze. The glaze is applied using a revolving brush motion, which means each piece carries subtle variations in colour and tone — the result of the firing process interacting with the glaze chemistry rather than a printed or uniform finish. No two pieces are identical, which is intentional to the range.

In a working environment, vitrified china is a practical choice. It is denser and more chip-resistant than standard earthenware, holds up well on pass counters and in commercial dishwashers, and maintains its appearance through the repeated thermal cycling that comes with busy service. The reactive glaze finish, while decorative, does not compromise the functional durability of the body.
