Convotherm Brochure Easy RangeProduct Description
The Convotherm Maxx Pro easyDial 6.10 is a table-top combi oven taking six full-size gastronorm pans. It operates across three core cooking modes — steam, combi-steam, and convection — and is available in electric (three-phase) or gas variants, with a choice of direct steam injection or internal boiler steam generation. The easyDial interface brings all settings and status information into a single operating level, controlled through a central C-Dial with a large backlit display.
In a working kitchen, control clarity matters most at the busiest points of service. The TriColor indicator ring — yellow for preparation, red for active cooking, green for ready — gives chefs an at-a-glance read on oven status from across a section without needing to step away from the pass. For kitchens running timed sequences or back-to-back covers, that kind of visible feedback reduces the margin for error when it matters most.
Beyond the three primary modes, the ACS+ system provides meaningful environmental control through several adjustable settings:
- Crisp&Tasty — five levels of dehumidification for crisping and finishing
- BakePro — five levels for traditional baking results with crust control
- HumidityPro — five levels of added humidity for delicate or moisture-sensitive products
- Fan speed control — five levels to manage air circulation across different loads
Being a table-top unit, installation is more straightforward than a floor-standing model, but it still carries real service requirements. Adequate canopy extraction above the oven is essential. Water connection and drainage are required regardless of which steam system is chosen, and the boiler and injection variants have differing water supply demands — worth confirming before ordering. The unit should be mounted on a stable, level surface capable of supporting its weight, and the available power supply or gas connection at the installation point must match the chosen variant.
This model is well suited to restaurants, hotel kitchens, pub kitchens, and contract catering operations running moderate covers where cooking versatility is essential but floor space is limited. It performs reliably where bench-mounted equipment is preferred and a full floor-standing combi would be impractical. For higher-volume sites or operations routinely loading larger numbers of GN pans simultaneously, a higher-capacity model from the Maxx Pro range would be worth considering.
If you want to talk through whether the 6.10 is the right capacity for your operation, or work out which steam system and power source suits your site, the team is happy to go through that with you before you order.

Convotherm Brochure Easy RangeFrequently Asked Questions
- The 6.10 handles moderate covers well, particularly where the menu makes good use of the full six-pan capacity across different cooking modes. For kitchens running high-volume continuous service with large simultaneous GN loads, it is worth considering whether a higher-capacity model in the Maxx Pro range would give more headroom — something the team can help you assess based on your actual throughput.
- You will need an appropriate electrical supply (three-phase) or gas connection depending on the variant chosen, along with a dedicated water supply and drainage connection for the steam system. Canopy extraction above the oven is also required. The boiler and direct injection variants have different water supply specifications, so it is important to confirm what is available at your installation point before ordering.
- The internal boiler generates steam independently and gives very consistent humidity control, making it well suited to baking and humidity-sensitive cooking. Direct steam injection draws from a pressurised water supply and tends to offer faster steam response, which suits high-throughput operations where recovery speed matters. The right choice depends on your water supply setup and the type of cooking you do most — the team can help you work through that.
