Each compartment is secured by padlock — padlocks are not supplied as standard, allowing operators to choose their own — and the unit features a sloping top to prevent items being stored on the locker and to discourage dust accumulation. A welded plinth runs between the doors to improve inter-compartment security, reducing the gap between adjoining door edges and making it harder to manipulate a neighbouring latch.

The powder coated finish is robust enough for the damp, humid conditions typical of staff changing areas and back-of-house corridors. It holds up well against knocks from kitchen kit, bags, and trolleys, and can be wiped down without affecting the surface. The blue colour is particularly useful where colour-coded locker allocation is in use — for example, distinguishing departments or shift groups at a glance.
