Product Description
This is a five-compartment staff locker from Elite Lockers, finished in blue with a tough epoxy polyester powder-coated paint finish. Each of the five full-height compartments is secured via padlock fittings — padlocks are not supplied and will need to be sourced separately, which does give you the flexibility to standardise across your own preferred lock and key system. A welded plinth runs between the doors, reinforcing the overall frame and providing a degree of physical separation between adjacent compartments.
Back-of-house locker units take a fair amount of daily punishment — doors opened and closed repeatedly across shift changes, occasional knocks from trolleys or deliveries passing through tight corridors. The powder-coated finish holds up well to that kind of routine contact and wipes down cleanly, which matters in food-adjacent staff areas where basic hygiene standards extend beyond the kitchen itself.
- Welded plinth strengthens the frame and reduces the risk of inter-compartment access
- Padlock fittings allow use of your own chosen lock and key system
- Powder-coated finish is durable and easy to clean in staff welfare areas
- Five individual compartments in a single unit makes efficient use of floor space
- Available in a range of depths and door configurations to suit different site layouts
This is a full-height unit, so adequate ceiling clearance is needed and enough clear floor space to allow all five doors to open without obstruction. At 26kg it is manageable but two people are recommended for positioning. No electrical or plumbing connections are required.
It is well suited to catering operations, hospitality venues, and food production sites where individual, secure staff storage is needed in a compact footprint. If you have a larger workforce or need a wider bank of compartments, broader configurations are available within the range.
If you're working out which configuration best fits your staffroom layout or the number of staff sharing a shift, we're happy to talk it through before you place an order.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Yes — the unit comes with padlock fittings but padlocks are not included. This is intentional, as it allows you to choose your own preferred lock type and standardise key systems across your site if needed.
- It is well suited to back-of-house areas in catering, hospitality, and food production sites. The powder-coated finish is straightforward to wipe down, which is useful in staff welfare areas where basic hygiene standards still apply. It is not designed for wet rooms or areas with direct water exposure.
- As a general guide, you'll want at least one compartment per member of staff using the locker room at any one time — ideally one per employee if rotas allow. If your shift patterns mean a large number of staff overlap, a wider bank of units or a configuration with more compartments may be more practical. We can help you work through the numbers if you're unsure.
