The Dudson Evo Jet mug is part of the Evo range, which takes its visual cue from hand-thrown pottery. The irregular, tactile surface finish gives each piece a crafted, artisan quality without the fragility or inconsistency of actual handmade ceramics. The Jet colourway delivers a deep, dark finish that works well against both light and dark tableware arrangements.

Made from vitrified stoneware, these mugs are well suited to the demands of regular commercial service. Vitrified stoneware is denser and harder-wearing than standard earthenware, handling repeated cycles through commercial dishwashers without the surface degradation that affects lower-fired ceramics. The finish holds up to the minor knocks and stacking that come with busy back-of-house handling, and at 373g the mug has a solid, reassuring weight that reads well to the customer.

Practically, the Evo Jet mug suits operations where the tableware is expected to contribute to the overall look and feel of the cover — cafés, brasseries, hotel breakfast service, and casual dining rooms where a more characterful alternative to plain white is appropriate. The 332ml capacity is a standard mug size, accommodating most coffee and tea serves without feeling oversized.

  • Dishwasher-safe vitrified stoneware suited to high-turnover service
  • Consistent finish across the pack, important for a uniform table presentation
  • Deep Jet colourway works across a range of table styling directions
  • Solid weight and feel that holds up under daily commercial use

If you are specifying tableware across a larger opening or refreshing an existing range, it is worth speaking with the team to confirm pack quantities and lead times before committing to an order.

Frequently asked questions

Are these mugs suitable for use in a commercial dishwasher?

Yes. Vitrified stoneware is fired at high temperatures, making it denser and more resistant to thermal shock than standard earthenware. These mugs are designed to handle regular cycles through commercial glasswashers and dishwashers without significant glaze deterioration over time.

How many packs would a typical café or restaurant need to open with?

As a general guide, most operations plan for two to three times their seated cover count to allow for items in service, in the wash cycle, and in reserve. For a 30-cover café, that typically means stocking 60–90 mugs as a starting point. If you are unsure of the right quantity for your operation, the team can help you work through it.

Does the Evo range offer other pieces that coordinate with the Jet mug?

The Evo range is a broader tableware collection that includes plates, bowls, and other hollowware in coordinating finishes. If you are building a full table setting rather than sourcing mugs alone, it is worth discussing the full range to ensure consistency across your covers.
