Cambro
Cambro Camrack 49 Compartment Glass Rack Beige 298mm
£52.93(£63.52 inc VAT)
The Cambro Camrack is a glass storage and transport rack designed to protect glassware during dishwasher cycles, transit between service areas, and general storage. This beige version holds 49 glasses per rack and accommodates glasses up to 298mm in height, making it practical for a range of standard tumbler, wine, and stemless glassware used in commercial operations.
In a working bar or catering kitchen, glass breakage is a recurring cost that adds up quickly. Camracks are commonly used as both a washing and storage solution — glasses load directly into the rack, pass through the glasswasher, and can be stored or transported without being handled individually. The polypropylene construction is resistant to high temperatures and cleaning chemicals, which means the racks hold up well under repeated daily use and standard chemical glasswashing programmes.
From a practical standpoint, the main advantages are straightforward:
- Reduces glass-to-glass contact and the breakage that comes with loose stacking
- Eliminates the need to unload and reload glassware between washing and storage
- Polypropylene withstands repeated high-temperature glasswasher cycles without warping
- Racks stack securely, making efficient use of back-bar and cellar storage space
These racks require no installation as such, but it is worth confirming that the rack dimensions are compatible with your existing glasswasher before ordering. Not all glasswashers accommodate a standard 500mm rack, so checking the wash chamber opening is a sensible step. For sites running very high glass volumes — busy nightclubs, large banqueting operations, or multi-bar venues — a higher-compartment rack or a larger rack system may offer better throughput per cycle.
This rack is well suited to pubs, hotel bars, restaurants, and event caterers who want a reliable, low-maintenance system for glassware handling. If you are building out a complete rack system or are unsure which compartment size works best for your glassware, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
