Churchill Stonecast Patina Antique Organic Round Plates Taupe 210mm (Pack of 12)

The Churchill Stonecast Patina Antique Organic Round Plate in Taupe is a vitrified ceramic plate with a wide rim and a deliberately aged, stonewashed finish. The surface has an uneven, textured quality that sits between rustic and refined, making it well suited to casual dining concepts, farm-to-table menus, and contemporary pub dining where the aesthetic leans away from standard white china. The underside carries a contrasting gloss white finish, which is typical of the Stonecast Patina range.

In service, Churchill's vitrified ceramic construction is what matters most. The material is notably denser and harder than standard earthenware, which translates directly into resistance to chipping, cracking, and the general wear that comes from high-turnover covers, commercial dishwasher cycles, and stacking in busy pot wash areas. At 210mm across, the plate works well for starters, sharing plates, desserts, and smaller main portions — operators running it as a bread or side plate alongside a larger main plate will also find it a practical fit.

• Vitrified ceramic body resists chipping and withstands repeated commercial dishwasher cycles
• Wide rim provides a consistent border for plating, suitable for garnish-led presentation
• Stonewashed taupe finish adds visual depth without requiring elaborate plating
• Sold in packs of 12, practical for building cover counts without over-ordering
• Backed by Churchill's 5-year edge chip guarantee

As with any textured-glaze plate, the Patina finish requires standard commercial dishwasher chemistry — aggressive descaling agents used directly on the surface over time may affect the glaze. This is worth discussing with your kitchen team before committing to large quantities.

This plate is well suited to independent restaurants, gastro pubs, and casual dining venues wanting a consistent, characterful look without moving into bespoke or handmade pottery. Churchill's Stonecast Patina range is broad, and if you're building a full table setting or matching across multiple plate sizes, it's worth speaking to us before placing an order to make sure finishes align across the range.
