Churchill
Churchill Stonecast Skillet Pan Peppercorn Grey 230mm (Pack of 6)
£98.33(£118.00 inc VAT)
The Churchill Stonecast skillet pan is a small, handled ceramic skillet designed to move directly from oven to table. Built from super vitrified stoneware and finished in a hand-decorated Peppercorn Grey glaze with a dotted texture and darkened rim, each piece has a slightly individual character — a quality that works well in settings where presentation is part of the dining experience.
In a busy service environment, these skillets earn their place by simplifying the journey from kitchen to cover. Food cooked and held in the skillet arrives at the table in the same vessel it was finished in, which helps preserve temperature, reduces the risk of presentation breaking down during plating, and cuts down on the number of serving dishes going through the wash. For comfort food menus, sharing starters, or dishes where a rustic presentation suits the concept, they handle the workload reliably without adding complexity to the pass.
- Super vitrified construction resists chipping and cracking under daily commercial use
- Hand-decorated finish gives each piece a distinct, individual character
- Oven-safe up to 180°C, moving cleanly from kitchen to table
- Dishwasher and microwave safe for straightforward cleaning and service flexibility
- Supplied in a pack of six for consistent table presentation across covers
These are ceramic pieces rather than cast iron, so they are best suited to finishing and holding rather than high-heat searing or prolonged stovetop use. They work well in ovens and on the pass, but are not designed for direct hob contact. The super vitrified body is significantly more durable than standard earthenware, though as with any crockery, correct handling and stacking practices will extend their working life in a high-turnover environment.
Well suited to independent restaurants, gastro pubs, and casual dining operations with a comfort food or sharing menu. They work particularly well where the visual informality of rustic serveware fits the brand. For operations needing a larger skillet for bigger portions or sharing dishes, alternative sizes are available in the Stonecast range.
If you are putting together a serveware package or want to discuss which size works best for your menu concept, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
