Steelite Revolution Bluestone Zest Platter 255mm (Pack of 12)

The Steelite Revolution Bluestone Zest Platter is a 255mm vitrified china platter from Steelite's Revolution Bluestone range. Each piece is glazed by hand using a revolving brush motion, which leaves a distinctive directional texture across the surface. Because this process is applied individually, no two platters are identical — the depth of colour and the glaze pattern vary naturally from piece to piece. The result is a serving piece that reads as considered and artisan without requiring the kitchen to invest in bespoke tableware.

In a service environment, the vitrified china construction is the practical foundation beneath the aesthetic. Vitrified china is well suited to the demands of a commercial pass — it resists chipping at the rim better than standard earthenware, holds up under repeated dishwasher cycles, and maintains its appearance through sustained daily use. The bluestone colourway works well as a neutral backdrop for plated dishes across a range of cuisine styles, from sharing plates to composed starters.

Key practical points for operators considering this range:

• Handcrafted glaze means each piece is visually distinct — consistent enough for a table set, varied enough to add character
• Vitrified china body offers good durability under commercial dishwashing
• Sold in packs of 12, suited to section-level stock purchasing
• The 255mm diameter is a practical size for starters, sharing portions, or side presentations
• Bluestone colourway is neutral enough to complement most plating styles

As with any handfinished tableware, minor variation in glaze coverage and tone should be expected and is inherent to the production method rather than a quality issue. Operators buying across multiple pack orders should be aware that batch variation is possible, which is worth considering when planning a full dining room rollout.

This platter is well suited to restaurants, boutique hotels, and casual dining operations looking to add texture and visual interest to their table setting without departing from a reliable commercial tableware supplier. If you are specifying tableware for a larger rollout or want guidance on matching pieces within the Revolution Bluestone range, our team is happy to help you work through the options.
