Steelite Rio Pink Soup Plates 215mm (Pack of 24)

The Steelite Rio range is a line of casual-dining tableware finished with a hand-applied colour wash that gives each piece a relaxed, informal character without compromising on the robustness expected in a commercial setting. These soup plates are produced in alumina vitrified ceramic, a material chosen for its durability and resistance to the stresses of everyday service — including the thermal shock that comes with repeated dishwasher cycling and moving between kitchen temperatures and the pass.

In a busy café, bistro or hotel restaurant, tableware takes a considerable amount of daily punishment. The Rio range is glazed to a standard that holds up well under regular machine washing, and the lifetime edge chip warranty from Steelite reflects the confidence placed in the construction. The pink colourway is warm and approachable, well suited to informal dining settings where operators want to add a point of visual interest to the table without a formal or clinical look.

A few practical points worth bearing in mind for operators considering Rio Pink:

• Hand-applied colour wash means natural variation between pieces — consistent with the design intent, not a defect
• Colours across the Rio range can be mixed and matched, which suits operators running a relaxed or eclectic table style
• Sold in packs of 24, which works well as a starter quantity for smaller sites or as a top-up order for larger ones
• Alumina vitrified ceramic construction supports everyday commercial dishwasher use

Rio Pink is most at home in bistros, independent cafés, boutique hotels and casual-dining restaurants. If your operation runs very high covers and requires maximum stack-and-store efficiency, it is worth discussing your throughput with us to confirm Rio is the right fit for your service style and storage setup.

If you are building out a new table setting or want to discuss how Rio Pink works alongside other pieces in the range, we are happy to talk it through before you place your order.
