Duralex Jazz Old Fashioned Tumblers 260ml (Pack of 48)

£96.34(£115.61 inc VAT)

The Duralex Jazz Old Fashioned Tumbler is a tempered glass spirit and mixer glass widely used across bars, restaurants, and hospitality venues. It holds a practical 260ml, making it well suited to short serves, spirits with ice, and soft drinks. The Jazz range is a long-established Duralex line with a clean, stackable profile that fits comfortably in most standard glasswasher racks.

In a busy service environment, glassware takes a considerable amount of handling — clearing, washing, re-racking, and restacking through several covers a night. Tempered glass is noticeably more resilient under these conditions than standard annealed glass, and the Jazz tumblers are produced to Duralex's known manufacturing standard. Should a glass break, tempered construction means it fractures into small, blunt pieces rather than sharp shards, which is a meaningful safety consideration in any staffed service environment.

From an operational standpoint, the key practical advantages are:

Suitable for both hot and cold beverages without thermal shock risk
Dishwasher safe and compatible with commercial glasswasher cycles
Microwave safe, useful where hot drinks are served in the same glass
Stackable profile helps with storage and reduces shelf space demands
Supplied in a pack of 48, providing a practical opening stock or top-up quantity

No special storage or handling infrastructure is required. These are standard tumblers that fit existing rack systems and require no particular consideration beyond normal glassware care. The 48-pack quantity suits a medium-sized venue as an initial stock purchase or a replacement order where breakage has drawn numbers down.

The Jazz tumbler is best suited to pub bars, casual dining venues, hotel bars, and staff canteens where a dependable, no-fuss tumbler is needed in reasonable volume. Operators running very high covers or requiring a more premium aesthetic may want to consider alternatives from the broader range.

If you are unsure whether this size or pack quantity is right for your service volume, our team is happy to help you work through what you need before you order.

Duralex Jazz Old Fashioned Tumblers 210ml (Pack of 48)

£91.38(£109.66 inc VAT)

The Duralex Jazz is a short, stackable tumbler made from tempered glass, sized for old fashioned serves, spirits, juice, and soft drinks. Supplied in a pack of 48, it is a practical choice for operators who need a consistent, reliable glass across a busy front-of-house operation.

Tempered glass behaves quite differently to standard glassware in a commercial setting. It withstands the repeated thermal cycling of dishwasher use without degrading at the rate ordinary glass does, and if a glass does break, it fragments into small blunt pieces rather than sharp shards — a meaningful consideration in any busy service environment. The Jazz has been a long-standing choice for cafés, bars, pubs, and hotel beverage service precisely because it holds up well under daily volume.

From an operational standpoint, the key advantages are straightforward:

Significantly more resistant to impact and thermal shock than standard glass
Dishwasher safe, supporting fast turnaround through commercial glasswashers
Suitable for both hot and cold beverages
Consistent shape aids stacking and storage efficiency
The pack quantity of 48 covers a meaningful service float without multiple orders

There are no special handling requirements beyond standard glassware practice. The Jazz is suited to most commercial glasswashers and requires no unusual storage provision. It is worth noting that tempered glass, while more durable, is not unbreakable — operators running very high-volume or rough service environments may want to consider polycarbonate alternatives for outdoor or festival use.

This glass is well suited to cafés, bars, restaurants, hotel buffets, and staff canteens where a reliable, everyday tumbler is needed at volume. For lighter-duty or lower-volume requirements, smaller pack sizes may be a more practical starting point.

If you are unsure whether the 210ml size suits your intended serve or want guidance on glassware quantities for your operation, the team is happy to help you work it through.
