Pest Control

The Eazyzap LED glue board fly killer is a wall-mounted insect control unit designed for commercial food environments. It uses an LED light source to attract flying insects, which are then caught on a replaceable adhesive glue board. There is no electrical zapping, no noise, and no insect debris scattered around the unit — the insects are contained on the board until it is changed.

In a working kitchen or food service environment, uncontrolled flying insects are a hygiene and compliance risk. This type of unit is commonly installed in kitchens, food prep areas, and front-of-house spaces where a traditional UV zapper would be too loud, too visible, or too likely to scatter debris onto food surfaces. The LED lamp draws insects in effectively while consuming less energy than older fluorescent-tube equivalents, making it a practical long-term installation rather than a temporary fix.

Key operational advantages include:

• Silent operation — suitable for dining areas and customer-facing spaces
• No flying debris — glue board contains insects cleanly
• LED light source reduces energy consumption versus fluorescent alternatives
• Stainless steel housing is durable and easy to wipe down
• Glue boards slide in and out from the side for straightforward monthly replacement

Installation is straightforward — the unit wall-mounts and requires only a standard mains connection. Placement should be considered carefully: the unit works best positioned away from direct competition with natural light sources, at a height where flying insects are active, and not directly above open food. For larger or multi-room sites, more than one unit may be needed to maintain effective coverage across the full area.

This unit is well suited to small to medium food businesses — cafés, restaurant dining rooms, pub kitchens, sandwich counters, and similar environments. For larger sites, high-traffic production kitchens, or areas with a particularly heavy pest pressure, a higher-capacity unit with a larger coverage rating may be more appropriate.

If you are unsure whether this unit will cover your site adequately, or need guidance on placement for compliance purposes, the team is happy to help you work through the options.

This is the genuine replacement UV bulb for a range of EazyZap energy-saving fly killer units, including models GH093, GH094, CN430 and CN431. UV fly killers rely on the bulb emitting the correct wavelength to attract flying insects — once the bulb degrades, the unit becomes significantly less effective even if it still appears to be lit. Replacing the bulb on a regular maintenance schedule is the straightforward way to keep your fly control working as it should.

In a commercial kitchen, bar, or front-of-house area, consistent pest control is a basic hygiene requirement rather than an optional extra. A failed or weakened bulb is one of the most common reasons a fly killer stops performing, and it is easily overlooked during routine checks. Keeping a spare on hand means there is no gap in protection when a replacement is due.

• Energy-saving 13W design uses less electricity than older halogen equivalents
• Direct replacement for compatible EazyZap units — no modification required
• Suitable for kitchen, bar, and front-of-house fly killer installations
• Long bulb life helps reduce the frequency of maintenance intervals

It is worth noting that UV bulb output degrades over time before visible failure, so manufacturers typically recommend replacement on a set schedule rather than waiting for the bulb to stop working entirely. If you are unsure how often to replace bulbs in your specific environment or which EazyZap units are compatible, the team is happy to point you in the right direction.

The EazyZap Chain Door Fly Screen is a straightforward, passive pest deterrent designed for use at external or internal doorways in commercial food environments. A hanging curtain of anodised aluminium chains creates a physical barrier that discourages flies, wasps, and other insects from entering, while remaining open enough for staff to pass through freely and for air to circulate naturally. There are no electrics, no consumables, and no ongoing maintenance requirements.

In a busy kitchen environment, an open back door or service entrance can quickly become an entry point for insects, particularly during warmer months. A chain screen offers a practical first line of defence at those openings, helping operators stay compliant with food hygiene requirements around pest control without obstructing ventilation — a real consideration in kitchens where managing ambient temperature is already a challenge.

The anodised aluminium construction gives the screen good resistance to the knocks, moisture, and grease that are part of everyday kitchen life. The chains are designed to hang tangle-free, which matters in a busy pass where staff are moving quickly and the last thing needed is a screen that catches or bunches.

• Keeps pests out without blocking airflow or light
• Tangle-free chains allow staff to move through without snagging
• Anodised aluminium resists corrosion in humid kitchen conditions
• Simple screw-mounted installation — no specialist fitting required
• Easy to remove for cleaning or when seasonal conditions change

This screen is well suited to smaller commercial kitchens, cafés, takeaways, and food preparation areas with a single back door or side entrance. For wider openings or high-footfall doorways, it is worth considering whether a wider or heavier-duty solution would give better coverage.

If you are unsure whether this screen is the right fit for your doorway or kitchen setup, our team are happy to help you work through the options.

This is the manufacturer-matched replacement fluorescent tube for compatible Eazyzap fly killer units. It is an 18W actinic BL T8 tube, which is the specific UV-emitting type used in electric fly killers to attract flying insects into the unit. Using the correct replacement tube is important — standard fluorescent tubes of the same wattage will not produce the UV wavelength that makes fly killers effective, even if they appear to light up normally.

UV output from actinic tubes degrades over time, often well before the tube visibly fails. In a commercial catering environment, fly killers should be considered active pest control equipment rather than passive fittings, and the tubes replaced regularly — typically annually — to maintain effectiveness. A tube that looks functional may no longer be attracting insects reliably.

Keeping a spare tube to hand is straightforward practice for any kitchen that relies on fly killer units during warmer months or in high-risk areas such as near waste points, delivery entrances, or food preparation zones. Replacement is straightforward on compatible Eazyzap units and requires no specialist tools.

This tube is suited to kitchens, food preparation areas, bars, and front-of-house spaces already running compatible Eazyzap equipment. If you are unsure whether this tube matches your existing unit, or if you are looking to review your overall fly control provision, the team is happy to help you work through what is appropriate for your site.

The EazyZap chain door fly screen is a practical passive pest control solution designed to cover doorways up to 900mm wide. It works by suspending overlapping aluminium chains across the door opening, creating a physical barrier that flying insects are reluctant to pass through, while remaining easy for kitchen staff to walk through without breaking stride. Unlike solid door closers or plastic strip curtains, the chain construction allows air to circulate freely — a useful property in kitchens where keeping air moving through back-of-house areas matters during busy service.

In day-to-day commercial kitchen use, this type of screen earns its place at external doors and delivery entrances that must remain open during warmer months. It requires no power, no maintenance schedule, and no adjustment — once fitted, it works passively without any staff input. The aluminium construction keeps the weight manageable while holding up well in high-traffic doorways where a screen is pushed through repeatedly throughout the shift.

• No electricity required — fully passive pest deterrent
• Allows airflow into hot kitchens without compromising pest control
• Comfortable to walk through at pace, minimising workflow disruption
• Aluminium chains resist moisture and grease-laden air
• Simple installation with no specialist tools or maintenance needed

Installation is straightforward — the screen mounts to the door frame and the chains hang to cover the opening. It suits single doorways up to 900mm wide; wider openings such as double doors or loading bay entrances would need a different approach. No electrical connection, water supply, or ventilation provision is required.

This screen is well suited to catering kitchens, food preparation areas, cafés, and takeaways where an external door is left open during service. It is a cost-effective first line of defence rather than a standalone pest management programme, and works best as part of a broader hygiene and pest control approach.

If you are unsure whether this size or type of screen is right for your doorway, the team is happy to talk through your options before you order.

This is a genuine replacement 6W actinic BL T5 fluorescent tube designed for use with Eazyzap fly killer units, specifically the CE893 model. Actinic black light tubes emit UV light at the wavelength most effective at attracting flying insects, making regular tube replacement an important part of keeping your fly killer performing as intended.

UV output from fluorescent tubes diminishes over time even when the tube still appears to be lit. In a commercial kitchen or food service environment, a tube that has passed its useful life will attract significantly fewer insects without any visible sign of failure. Replacing the tube on a regular cycle — typically annually — is standard practice in food safety-conscious operations and is often required to satisfy environmental health inspectors.

Keeping a spare tube on site means there is no interruption to pest control cover if a tube fails unexpectedly during service. For a relatively low-cost consumable, it is a straightforward way to maintain continuity.

This tube is suited to smaller Eazyzap units running a 6W lamp. If you operate a larger unit or a higher-capacity fly killer covering a bigger area, a different wattage tube will be required — it is worth checking your unit's lamp specification before ordering.

If you are unsure which replacement tube is correct for your fly killer, or if you need advice on lamp replacement intervals for food safety compliance, the team is happy to help.

The Eazyzap LED Fly Killer is an electrically-powered insect control unit designed for use in commercial food preparation and service environments. It uses LED ultraviolet bulbs to attract flying insects, which are then captured on a replaceable glue board — a clean, non-zapping method that avoids insect fragmentation and is well suited to areas where food hygiene standards must be maintained.

With a coverage area of up to 150m², this unit is practical for medium-sized kitchens, front-of-house dining areas, food retail spaces, and preparation rooms. The LED bulbs consume significantly less energy than traditional fluorescent UV lamps while still producing an effective UV output to attract insects throughout the working day and into service periods.

Key practical advantages for food service operators include:

• LED bulbs use less energy than fluorescent equivalents, reducing running costs over time
• Glue board capture method keeps insects intact, supporting hygiene compliance
• Suitable for use in food preparation areas where open-zap units may not be appropriate
• Simple glue board replacement keeps maintenance straightforward
• Discreet unit design suits both back-of-house and customer-facing areas

As with all fly control units, placement matters. The unit should be positioned away from competing light sources and natural daylight where possible, and not directly above food preparation surfaces. Glue boards should be checked and replaced at regular intervals — the frequency will depend on insect pressure in your location and season.

This unit is well suited to smaller to mid-sized commercial kitchens, cafés, food retail units, and hospitality venues. Sites with very high insect pressure or significantly larger floor areas may benefit from a higher-coverage unit or multiple installations.

If you're unsure whether this unit is the right fit for your site layout or pest control requirements, we're happy to talk it through before you order.

The Eazyzap LED Fly Killer is an electrically-powered insect control unit designed for commercial food environments. It uses two LED ultraviolet bulbs to attract flying insects and eliminates them on contact, helping operators maintain hygiene standards in areas where pest control is a compliance requirement rather than an optional extra.

In a working kitchen or food service environment, the difference between a reliable fly killer and an inadequate one tends to show up during warmer months when insect pressure is highest. This unit is rated for areas up to 50m², which suits smaller kitchens, prep rooms, front-of-house serveries, or storage areas where a compact, wall-mounted unit is more practical than a larger freestanding model.

The LED lamp technology is notably more efficient than traditional fluorescent UV units, which reduces running costs over continuous use — a practical consideration given that fly killers in commercial settings typically run throughout opening hours and beyond. The bulbs also tend to maintain their UV output more consistently over time compared with fluorescent alternatives, which can degrade in effectiveness before showing obvious signs of failure.

• Lower energy consumption than fluorescent equivalents, reducing long-term running costs
• Consistent UV output helps maintain effectiveness throughout bulb life
• Compact form factor suitable for wall-mounting in space-limited areas
• Appropriate for food prep, servery, and storage environments

For larger kitchens, open dining areas, or sites with higher insect pressure, a unit with a wider coverage rating would be worth considering. Coverage requirements depend on room layout, airflow, and proximity to external access points, so it is worth thinking through placement carefully before fitting.

If you are unsure whether this unit suits your site or want to discuss coverage requirements across multiple areas, we are happy to help you work through the options.

The Eazyzap Lantern Insect Killer is a mains-powered fly killer designed for use in both indoor and outdoor settings. Its 360-degree UV lamp design attracts flying insects — including flies, moths, and mosquitoes — drawing them in from all directions before eliminating them on contact. The lantern form factor allows it to blend into front-of-house or hospitality spaces more discreetly than traditional wall-mounted grid units.

In commercial food service environments, managing flying insects is not simply a matter of comfort — it is a hygiene and compliance requirement. A unit like this is commonly used in outdoor dining areas, covered terraces, bar areas, and service corridors where a conventional zapper would be obtrusive or impractical. The 360-degree coverage makes it well suited to open or irregularly shaped spaces where a directional unit would leave blind spots.

Practical benefits for operators include:

• Discreet lantern design suits front-of-house and outdoor hospitality areas
• All-round UV attraction covers open and irregularly shaped spaces
• Suitable for both indoor and covered outdoor installation
• Targets flies, moths, and mosquitoes without chemicals or sprays
• Low-maintenance operation with a standard replaceable UV lamp

Installation is straightforward — the unit requires a standard mains connection and can be suspended or placed on a surface depending on the setting. For outdoor use, it should be positioned under cover to protect it from direct rainfall. It is worth considering the placement carefully: positioning the unit away from competing light sources and at an appropriate height improves effectiveness. For larger sites or kitchens with significant pest pressure, a dedicated wall-mounted commercial unit with a higher coverage rating may be more appropriate.

This unit is a practical choice for smaller hospitality venues, outdoor dining areas, pop-up catering setups, and bar or café environments where a low-profile insect control solution is needed. It is less suited to high-volume food production kitchens where a heavy-duty commercial fly killer with a larger coverage area and higher catch capacity would typically be specified.

If you are unsure whether this unit is the right fit for your site — particularly if you are dealing with significant pest pressure or a larger space — it is worth having a conversation with us before ordering.

The EazyZap Glue Board Fly Killer is a passive, silent insect control unit designed for use in environments where flying pest activity cannot be tolerated. Rather than using an electric grid that kills on contact, it attracts insects using a UVA lamp and captures them on an internal adhesive board. Because the insects are contained within the unit rather than killed on impact, there is no risk of contaminated fragments falling onto food surfaces or preparation areas — a meaningful consideration in any food business.

In practice, this type of unit is well suited to areas where noise and visual discretion matter as much as effectiveness. Dining rooms, front-of-house spaces, food preparation counters, and serveries are all common placements. The unit operates silently and draws no attention, which makes it practical in customer-facing settings where a visible electric zapper would be unsuitable.

Key operational points worth noting:

• Silent operation — no zapping noise during service
• Contained capture prevents contamination from insect debris
• Energy-saving UVA lamp keeps running costs modest
• Glue boards are replaceable, keeping ongoing maintenance straightforward
• Suitable for food prep areas, serveries, and front-of-house spaces

Installation is straightforward — the unit requires only a standard mains socket and should be positioned away from competing light sources and direct airflow, both of which reduce effectiveness. Coverage is rated to 50m², which suits smaller rooms or defined zones within a larger kitchen. For larger open-plan spaces or sites with high pest pressure, a unit with greater coverage capacity would be worth considering.

This unit is a practical choice for smaller food businesses, cafés, takeaways, and front-of-house areas in restaurants where a quiet, hygienic solution is needed. If you are unsure whether this coverage level is right for your site or how best to position it, our team is happy to talk it through with you.

These citronella tea lights from Eazyzap are a simple, low-intervention option for managing flying insects in outdoor dining areas. Citronella is a plant-derived fragrance commonly used as a natural deterrent against flies and mosquitoes, and these tea lights release it gradually as they burn, making them practical for alfresco settings during warmer months.

For operators running beer gardens, terrace dining, or outdoor events in the summer season, maintaining a reasonably pest-free environment contributes directly to the comfort of guests and the overall dining experience. These tea lights can be distributed across tables or around the perimeter of a seating area as part of a broader approach to pest management outdoors.

• Natural citronella fragrance — no chemicals or sprays required
• Suitable for table placement in outdoor dining areas
• Supplied in a pack of 50, practical for stocking through the season
• Low-cost, low-maintenance option for front-of-house use

It is worth noting that citronella tea lights work best as a supplementary deterrent rather than a primary pest control solution. In high-pressure pest environments or enclosed areas where flies are a more serious concern, a dedicated UV fly killer unit would typically be more effective. These lights are best suited to casual outdoor use alongside other control measures.

If you are looking to put together a broader outdoor pest management approach for your site, our team is happy to talk through the options.

The Eazyzap LED fly killer is a wall-mounted insect control unit built for commercial environments where hygiene standards need to be maintained consistently. This electric fly killer uses two ultraviolet tubes to attract flying insects, which then fall into a removable catchment tray below. The unit is housed in a solid metal enclosure, making it a practical choice for food service and preparation areas where pest control forms part of day-to-day hygiene practice.

In a working kitchen environment, having a reliable passive pest control unit running continuously during service helps reduce the risk of contamination without requiring staff intervention. The catchment tray design means insects are contained and not dispersed, which matters in food prep and storage areas where hygiene standards are closely monitored.

• Solid metal housing with removable catchment tray for easy cleaning
• Two UV tubes attract insects passively throughout the day
• Can be ceiling-mounted on chains or placed on a shelf or solid surface
• Covers areas up to 50m², suitable for smaller kitchens, prep rooms, and storage areas
• UV bulbs should be replaced every six months to maintain effective attraction

Installation is straightforward — the unit can be suspended from a ceiling using the supplied chains, or positioned on a shelf at an appropriate height. It runs from a standard mains supply and requires no water or specialist connection. Bear in mind that UV fly killers work best when positioned away from competing light sources and natural daylight, and should not face doorways or windows where they may attract insects from outside.

This unit is well suited to smaller commercial kitchens, back-of-house storage rooms, prep areas, and front-of-house spaces such as service counters or dining rooms. For larger kitchens or open-plan areas significantly over 50m², a higher-output unit would be more appropriate to ensure adequate coverage.
