Heart & Soul Other Equipment

The Heart & Soul Perfect Match Avocado Bowls are vitrified porcelain serving bowls finished with a reactive green glaze. Because reactive glazes are fired rather than painted, each piece develops its own variation in tone and surface texture, which gives the range a hand-crafted quality without the fragility associated with artisan ceramics. The result is a consistent look across a table setting while retaining enough natural variation to feel considered rather than mass-produced.

At 144mm in diameter, these bowls sit comfortably in the gap between a small tasting dish and a full side bowl. In practice that makes them useful across a range of covers — starters, soups, desserts, breakfast cereals, small sharing portions, or plated sides on a tasting menu. The deeper profile holds sauced or dressed dishes without spillage risk during service, which matters on a busy floor.

For front-of-house teams, the practical points worth noting are:

• Vitrified construction resists chipping better than standard earthenware under commercial use
• Dishwasher safe, supporting fast turnaround between covers
• Reactive glaze finish does not require special handling or specialist cleaning products
• Sold in a six-pack, which suits initial orders or topping up existing sets

These bowls are well suited to casual dining, gastropubs, café-restaurants, and hospitality operations running a multi-course menu where a mid-sized bowl fills a gap in the existing table setting. They are decorative pieces as well as functional ones, so they work best where presentation is part of the offer. If you are building a larger set or matching to existing Heart & Soul tableware, it is worth confirming compatibility across the range before ordering in quantity.

If you would like guidance on quantities for your cover count or advice on building a cohesive table setting, the team is happy to help.

These small porcelain dishes are part of Heart & Soul's Perfect Match Avocado range — a coordinated tableware collection finished in a reactive green glaze. Because the glaze reacts during firing, each piece carries its own natural variation in tone and surface texture, giving the range a handcrafted quality that works well in settings where table presentation matters.

At 80mm across, these dishes are well suited to the kind of small accompaniments that appear throughout a service: dips, chutneys, dressings, tasters, or single-portion amuse-bouches. Their compact footprint means they sit comfortably alongside plates and boards without crowding the cover, and the consistent sizing across the range makes them easy to stack and store in reasonable numbers when not in service.

From a practical standpoint, the vitrified construction offers the durability expected of commercial tableware — resistance to chipping and crazing holds up better than standard earthenware under the pace of a busy pass. They are dishwasher safe, which matters in any operation where front-of-house crockery turns over quickly during a sitting.

• Reactive glaze gives natural variation — no two pieces are identical
• Compact size suits dips, condiments, tasters, and small accompaniments
• Coordinates with other pieces in the Heart & Soul Perfect Match Avocado range
• Vitrified construction for durability under regular commercial use
• Dishwasher safe for straightforward turnaround between covers

These dishes are a practical choice for restaurants, bistros, and casual dining venues looking to add a considered visual element to the table without complexity. If you are building a coordinated table setting across multiple piece types, it is worth checking which other items sit within the Perfect Match Avocado range — the team are happy to help you put a cohesive set together.
