The Steelite Modern Twist table runner is a silicone table accessory designed for use in commercial dining environments. Made from food-safe silicone, it sits flat on the table without curling or creasing, and is sold in a box of three.

In front-of-house service, consistency matters. Unlike cloth linen, silicone runners require no ironing, hold their shape regardless of how they've been stored, and return flat to the table every time. They wipe down quickly between covers and can go through a commercial dishwasher without degrading — practical advantages during high-turnover service periods.

• Lays flat without curling — no pressing or steaming required
• Commercial dishwasher safe for efficient turnaround between covers
• Food-safe silicone construction — BPA free
• Wipes clean quickly for fast table resets
• Consistent appearance across multiple tables and services

There are no special installation or storage requirements. The runners stack or roll easily and take up minimal space in a linen cupboard or service station. Being silicone, they are unaffected by humidity or temperature fluctuations in a kitchen or dining room environment. A box of three makes it straightforward to keep consistent cover numbers across a section.

These runners suit restaurants, hotel dining rooms, cafés, and event catering operations looking for a low-maintenance alternative to cloth. They work particularly well in venues with high table turnover where linen laundry time and cost is a consideration. For larger venues or different table configurations, broader or longer runner formats may be more appropriate.

If you're unsure which size or format suits your table layout, the team is happy to help you work it through before you order.

The Steelite Modern Twist table runner is a silicone table dressing designed for commercial front-of-house use. Made from hand-printed silicone, it sits flat on the table without curling or creasing, giving a clean, consistent look across covers without the laundering demands of cloth linen.

In busy service environments, table runners take a considerable amount of daily handling — stacking, wiping, repositioning between covers. Silicone holds up well under this kind of repeated use. It doesn't absorb spills, doesn't retain odours, and doesn't need ironing or specialist care between services. The Silver Stream finish gives a refined appearance that works well in formal dining settings without looking overly decorative.

From an operational standpoint, the practical advantages over cloth or vinyl alternatives are straightforward:

• Passes through a commercial dishwasher without warping or degrading
• Lies completely flat without clips, weights, or adjustment
• Wipe-clean between services where a full wash isn't needed
• No memory means it returns to shape after folding or storage
• Food-safe silicone with no BPA concerns

Sold in a box of three, the pack size suits operators building up table stock incrementally or trialling the product across a section before committing to a full floor order. The runner format works well as a centre-table accent or as a practical surface layer over bare table tops. Operators using full tablecloths may find a placemat format more appropriate for their layout.

If you're unsure whether the runner or placemat format better suits your cover style and table dimensions, we're happy to talk it through.

The Steelite Modern Twist table runner is a silicone textile alternative designed for commercial table service environments. Made from hand-printed silicone, it is intended to replicate the appearance of cloth table linen while offering the practical durability that front-of-house teams need during busy covers.

In a working restaurant or hotel dining room, these runners hold up well under the demands of repeated service. They lay completely flat without curling or creasing, which removes the need for pressing or steaming between sittings. Unlike cloth linen, there is no laundering cycle to manage — they pass straight through a commercial dishwasher and are ready for reuse.

• Commercial dishwasher safe for straightforward turnaround between covers
• Lays flat without curling — no pressing or ironing required
• Food safe and BPA free silicone construction
• Wipe-clean surface handles spills quickly during service
• Consistent appearance across a full table setting

From a practical standpoint, silicone runners suit operations where linen costs or laundry logistics are a concern. They are commonly used in hotels, airport lounges, and restaurants where a consistent, presentable table setup is required across multiple sittings without significant back-of-house effort. The chocolate colourway works well in warmer, earthy interior schemes.

These runners are sold in a box of three, which suits trialling across a section before committing to a larger quantity. For operations covering a large number of covers, it is worth considering how the chocolate colourway coordinates with existing tableware and linen before ordering in volume.

If you are unsure whether this colourway or format suits your table layout, the team is happy to talk through your requirements.

The Steelite Modern Twist placemat is a hand-printed silicone table liner designed for professional table service environments. Unlike fabric or vinyl alternatives, it is produced from pure silicone, which gives it a distinctly different surface quality — closer in appearance to a cloth linen but considerably more practical in daily service use. The grey marble finish works across a range of table settings without appearing overly themed or casual.

In commercial environments where table turns are frequent and linen laundry costs are a constant consideration, silicone placemats offer a straightforward operational alternative. They clean quickly, require no ironing or specialist laundering, and because the material has no memory, they lay flat consistently without curling at the edges — a common issue with cheaper vinyl options that have been through repeated wash cycles.

• Commercially dishwasher safe, so they can go through the rack with the crockery
• Lay flat without curling, even after repeated washing
• BPA free and fully food safe
• Wipe-clean surface for rapid mid-service refresh
• Consistent appearance across the table without folding or creasing

From a practical standpoint, silicone placemats are best suited to operations that want a dressed table look without the overhead of managing a linen programme. They are widely used in hotels, airport lounges, and branded restaurant groups where consistency of presentation matters and back-of-house laundry capacity is limited or expensive. They are sold in boxes of twelve, which suits initial rollouts or topping up existing stock.

These placemats are not a direct replacement for full cloth table linen in fine dining settings where a premium fabric feel is expected by guests. For those environments, the choice is a considered one. For casual dining, hotel breakfast service, or any operation looking to reduce linen handling, they are a practical and durable option worth considering.

If you are assessing table presentation options across a number of covers or need guidance on quantities, our team is happy to talk it through with you.

The Steelite Modern Twist placemat is a hand-printed silicone table linen designed for commercial dining environments. The black and grey hatch pattern gives it a clean, contemporary appearance that sits comfortably alongside formal table settings without looking utilitarian. It is supplied in boxes of twelve, making it straightforward to stock in sufficient rotation for busy services.

Silicone construction means these mats hold their shape through repeated commercial dishwasher cycles without curling, warping, or losing colour. Because silicone has no memory, the mats lay flat immediately on removal from the rack — a small but meaningful advantage when covers are turning quickly and there is no time to straighten out rolled or creased linens. The material is BPA free and fully food safe.

For front-of-house teams, the practical advantages are straightforward:

• Withstands commercial dishwasher temperatures without degradation
• Lays flat without pressing or steaming — no additional handling required
• Non-porous surface does not absorb spills, oils, or odours
• Consistent appearance across the dining room with no fading or shrinkage
• Reduces linen laundry costs compared with fabric alternatives

These mats are well suited to hotels, restaurants, and contract catering operations looking to reduce linen costs without compromising table presentation. They are particularly useful in high-turnover environments where speed of reset matters. For operations that prefer a runner format or need a different colourway, other configurations within the Modern Twist range may be worth considering.

If you are unsure whether silicone mats are the right fit for your table service setup or need guidance on quantities for your cover count, we are happy to help you work through it.

The Steelite Modern Twist placemat is a silicone table linen alternative designed for commercial dining environments. Made from food-safe silicone in a woven twine pattern, it sits in the space between cloth napery and vinyl placemats — offering the visual warmth of a textile with the practical durability of a non-porous material.

In operational terms, silicone placemats of this type earn their place in high-turnover dining rooms where linen laundering costs are a genuine concern. They lay flat without curling, resist heat from serving vessels, and clean down quickly between covers. The silver twine finish suits contemporary and neutral table schemes, and the material holds its appearance through repeated cleaning cycles without the colour fade common in fabric alternatives.

• Commercially dishwasher safe — consistent results through high-volume cycles
• Lay-flat construction — no curling or reshaping required between services
• Food-safe silicone — BPA free and non-porous for good hygiene practice
• Heat resistant surface — protects tables from warm plates and serving dishes
• No laundering required — reduces linen handling and associated labour

These placemats are sold in boxes of 12, which suits initial table setting for smaller venues or topping up existing stock. They are well suited to hotel dining rooms, café counters, and restaurant covers where a consistent, low-maintenance table presentation is a priority. For very large operations or where a full table runner aesthetic is preferred, broader format options may be worth considering.

If you are unsure whether this format and finish is the right fit for your table scheme or service volume, we are happy to talk it through.

The Steelite Modern Twist Silver Stream placemat is a hand-printed silicone table linen designed for use in commercial dining environments. Made from pure food-safe silicone, it offers the visual softness of a cloth linen with practical advantages that cloth cannot match — no laundering, no ironing, and no risk of staining in the same way fabric carries.

In a busy restaurant or hotel dining room, consistency of presentation across covers matters. These placemats lay completely flat without curling or bunching, which means front-of-house staff aren't adjusting or repositioning them between services. They hold their shape regardless of how they've been stored or stacked, which simplifies mise en place and keeps tables looking well set even at speed.

• Fully food-safe silicone construction — BPA free and non-toxic
• Commercial dishwasher safe, reducing linen handling between services
• Lay-flat design with no memory — no curling or bunching after washing
• Suitable for table service in hotels, restaurants, airport lounges, and similar venues
• Available in silver stream finish, suited to contemporary cover settings

From an operational standpoint, the shift away from cloth placemats removes a consistent laundry cost and the logistical overhead of linen rotation. Silicone is also straightforward to sanitise to food-safe standards, which is relevant in environments where allergen control and hygiene documentation matter.

These placemats are well suited to mid- to high-end table service operations looking for a contemporary alternative to cloth. They are sold in boxes of twelve, which suits both initial setup and ongoing stock replenishment. If your operation runs a large number of covers or requires a different colourway or format, it's worth speaking with the team to ensure the specification fits your service style before ordering in quantity.

The Steelite Modern Twist placemat is a hand-printed silicone table linen designed for commercial table settings. It sits flat without curling or creasing, carries a smart two-tone black and grey finish, and is produced from food-safe, BPA-free silicone throughout.

In busy table-service environments, the practical advantage of a silicone placemat becomes clear quickly. Unlike fabric linen, there is no laundering cycle, no ironing, and no storage of damp cloth. Unlike vinyl, the material does not discolour under heat or crack with repeated cleaning. These mats go through a commercial dishwasher cycle and come out ready to use — a meaningful operational saving during multi-cover services or high-turnover breakfast settings.

Key practical points for front-of-house teams:

• Commercially dishwasher safe — no specialist cleaning required
• Lays flat without curling, even after repeated wash cycles
• Food safe and BPA free — suitable where allergen-conscious presentation matters
• Durable silicone construction holds its colour and shape under regular commercial use
• Wipes down quickly between covers for faster table turns

There are no installation considerations for a placemat, but it is worth thinking about storage and quantity. Silicone mats stack neatly and take up less space than folded cloth, though the weight per unit means bulk orders do have handling implications for stock rooms. They are well suited to any setting where linen laundry costs are a concern — hotels, airport lounges, contract caterers, and casual dining restaurants are all common end users.

If you are specifying these across a larger estate or want guidance on quantities for a particular service style, the team is happy to help you think it through before you order.

The Steelite Modern Twist placemat is a silicone table linen alternative designed for hospitality environments where presentation, hygiene, and durability all need to work together. Made from food-safe silicone, it offers the visual warmth of a fabric placemat without the laundering overhead that cloth linen demands.

In a busy front-of-house setting, the practical advantages become clear quickly. The silicone construction means placemats can go straight through a commercial dishwasher after service without warping, shrinking, or losing their colour. Because the material has no memory, they lay completely flat on the table every time — there is no reshaping or steaming required before a cover is set. The denim blue finish provides a consistent, considered look that suits a range of table settings from casual dining to smarter restaurant environments.

• Food-safe silicone construction, BPA free
• Commercial dishwasher safe — no specialist laundering required
• Lays flat without reshaping after washing or storage
• Supplied in a box of 12, suited to bulk restocking
• Denim blue finish with a cloth-like appearance

There are no water or electrical installation requirements. These are straightforward to introduce into an existing table service operation, and the box quantity of 12 makes them practical to order in multiples aligned to cover counts. They are well suited to hotels, restaurants, contract catering, and airport lounges where consistency of presentation matters and linen management is a consideration. For venues running very high cover volumes across multiple sittings, it is worth reviewing par levels carefully to ensure adequate rotation through the wash cycle.

If you are weighing up silicone placemats against cloth linen or other alternatives for your operation, the team is happy to talk through what tends to work best in different service environments.

In a busy front-of-house environment, the material holds up well to repeated commercial dishwasher cycles without warping, cracking, or retaining odours.
