More than just a charcoal grill, the Kasai konro uses a natural clay material to optimise heat retention, reflecting heat back into the grill and to the food. As the konro has superior insulative properties, the charcoal burns longer than in conventional cookers, helping to maximise cooking times without having to change or add fuel. The special design of the grill also delivers those searing hot temperatures (up to 350°C) needed to lock in natural flavours without imparting other aromas.

This plancha edition includes the stainless steel frame and full-size griddle plate. The plancha is made from a strong 3mm thick 304 grade stainless steel material and provides exceptional heat retention and durability - perfect for pancakes, fried eggs, hot dogs, bacon, salmon, shrimps and other vegetables.
