The Mitre Comfort Vercelli duvet cover is a polycotton bed linen product designed for use in hotels, serviced apartments, guest houses, and similar hospitality environments. It is produced in super king size and features a check design in white, providing a clean, classic appearance suited to a wide range of room styles.

Polycotton construction is a practical choice for high-turnover hospitality operations. It holds its shape well through frequent commercial laundering, resists creasing better than pure cotton, and dries more quickly — all of which reduce linen turnaround time in busy housekeeping routines. The check pattern adds a degree of visual interest without straying from the neutral presentation most hospitality operators require.

  • Polycotton blend supports frequent commercial wash cycles without significant deterioration
  • White colourway keeps presentation consistent across room categories
  • Check design provides a finished, coordinated look without heavy styling
  • Super king sizing suits larger premium or executive room configurations
  • Lightweight construction simplifies handling and storage for housekeeping teams

The super king size makes this cover appropriate for properties offering larger bed configurations, typically in executive, suite, or premium room tiers. It is not intended for standard double or king rooms, so it is worth confirming your bed inventory before ordering in volume. For properties that standardise on smaller sizes, equivalent covers in other sizes are available within the Vercelli range.

If you are equipping a new property, refreshing existing linen stock, or unsure which specification best fits your housekeeping setup, we are happy to talk it through.

Frequently asked questions

Is polycotton suitable for commercial laundering at high temperatures?

Polycotton blends are widely used in hospitality linen because they perform reliably through frequent machine washing and tumble drying. They tend to be more resilient to repeated cycles than pure cotton and dry more quickly, which suits high-turnover housekeeping operations. Always follow the care instructions supplied with the product to avoid heat damage to the synthetic fibre content.

What bed size is the super king cover intended for?

This cover is sized for super king beds and is not interchangeable with standard king or double configurations. If your property operates a mix of bed sizes, it is worth auditing your room inventory before placing a bulk order to ensure you are ordering the correct size split across the range.

Does the Vercelli range include matching pillowcases and other linen items?

The Vercelli is part of the broader Mitre Comfort range, which typically includes coordinating pillowcases and other bed linen items. If you are looking to outfit rooms with a consistent set, we can advise on what is available and help you plan quantities based on your room count and linen rotation cycle.
