These Bolero rattan-effect folding chairs are a practical seating option for operators who need flexible, storable chairs without sacrificing a reasonable level of finish. The rattan-style seat and back give them a more considered appearance than a plain utility folding chair, making them suitable for casual dining areas, outdoor terraces, events spaces, or pub gardens where presentation still matters alongside practicality.

The powder-coated steel frame handles everyday hospitality use well. It wipes clean quickly, resists staining, and holds up to UV exposure, which is a useful quality for chairs that move between indoor and outdoor settings. Foot bungs on the legs protect floor surfaces from scuffing, a small detail that matters in venues with tiled or wooden floors.

The fold-flat design is the main operational advantage here. Chairs like these are commonly used where seating demand fluctuates — a venue that opens its function room at weekends, a mobile caterer needing stackable seating for events, or a pub adding temporary covers during busy periods. They set up and break down quickly without tools, and the relatively low individual weight makes them straightforward for one person to move and store.

  • Fold-flat design for compact storage and quick deployment
  • Powder-coated frame resists staining and UV fading
  • Wipe-clean surfaces suitable for busy hospitality settings
  • Floor-protective foot bungs on all legs
  • Sold as a pack of two — practical for incremental cover additions

These chairs are well suited to smaller venues, event caterers, or operators adding occasional extra covers. For sites requiring heavy daily use across larger seating areas, it's worth considering a more heavy-duty stacking or banquet chair from the wider range.

If you're not sure whether these are the right fit for your setup, we're happy to talk through the options.

Frequently asked questions

Are these chairs suitable for outdoor use?

The powder-coated steel frame offers reasonable resistance to UV exposure and can handle outdoor conditions, but like most steel-framed chairs they are best brought in during prolonged wet weather or stored overnight to extend their service life.

How much daily use are these chairs designed to handle?

These are a good fit for light-to-moderate use — think weekend event cover, occasional function room setups, or seasonal outdoor seating. For venues where chairs are in constant daily use across a full dining room, a heavier-duty commercial stacking chair is likely a more appropriate long-term investment.

Can these chairs be used with standard commercial tables?

Yes. The seat height is compatible with standard hospitality table heights, making them straightforward to pair with most café, bistro, or pub tables. If you're matching them to a specific table height, it's worth checking the seat height in the specifications before ordering.
