The Churchill Homespun Chroma Blue Triangle Plate is a 265mm triangular plate produced in super vitrified china. The Homespun Chroma range draws its visual character from layered glaze effects that replicate the appearance of hand-thrown pottery, with each piece carrying subtle variation in tone and texture. The result is a handcrafted aesthetic delivered at consistent commercial quality across every piece in the pack.

Super vitrified construction means the plates are built to withstand the stresses of a working kitchen — repeated dishwasher cycles, stacking on the pass, and the everyday handling that tableware takes in a busy service. The underglaze decoration sits beneath the outer glaze layer, which helps the finish resist fading and wear over prolonged use. The plates are also microwave safe, which is a practical advantage where reheating on the plate is part of the workflow.

Super vitrified body offers strong resistance to chipping and cracking in daily service
Underglaze decoration helps the finish withstand sustained dishwasher use
Microwave safe, removing the need to transfer food to a separate vessel for reheating
Triangular profile adds visual interest to starter, sharing, and side plate presentations
Pack of twelve provides a practical base stock or a useful supplement to existing covers

No special handling requirements apply, and these plates integrate straightforwardly into existing crockery workflows. The triangular shape is worth bearing in mind for storage — it is less compact than a round plate of equivalent diameter, so racking and shelf space should be considered before ordering in volume.

The Homespun Chroma Blue Triangle Plate is well suited to casual dining restaurants, gastro pubs, and contemporary café concepts where an artisanal, relaxed aesthetic is part of the offer. It works well as a sharing plate, starter plate, or side presentation piece. For operators needing to build out a fuller table setting or confirm how it sits alongside other pieces in the Homespun Chroma range, the team is glad to help you piece it together.

Frequently asked questions

How does the triangular shape affect storage and racking in a busy kitchen?

Triangular plates do not stack or rack as compactly as round equivalents of the same diameter, so it is worth reviewing your crockery storage before ordering in significant volume. If space is tight, pairing a smaller supplementary order with your existing round covers is a practical way to introduce the shape without overcommitting shelf space.

Is the Homespun Chroma Blue Triangle Plate suitable for high-volume restaurant operations?

The super vitrified construction is rated for commercial use and handles the chip and thermal shock stresses typical of a busy pass and commercial warewasher. For very high-cover operations running multiple sittings daily, it is worth considering whether the pack of twelve is sufficient depth or whether building a larger stock is more practical — the team can advise on quantities relative to your expected cover count.

Can this plate be used alongside other pieces in the Churchill Homespun Chroma range?

The Homespun Chroma range is designed as a coordinated collection, and the Blue Triangle Plate is intended to sit alongside other pieces in the range for a consistent table aesthetic. Because the glaze effects produce subtle variation between individual pieces, it is worth viewing samples or speaking with the team if you are building a full table setting and want to confirm the tonal match across different shapes.
