The Crown Verity RFS36 is a removable front shelf designed specifically for use with the MCB36 barbecue. It attaches directly to the front of the unit, extending the usable surface area immediately around the cooking zone without requiring a separate prep table alongside.

In outdoor catering and event service, the space around a grill tends to fill up quickly. Having a dedicated shelf at the front of the MCB36 keeps essentials — tongs, condiments, resting items, ready-to-plate food — within arm's reach and off the ground. When service is over, it removes cleanly, which matters when the unit needs to be packed down, transported, or stored compactly between events.

A few practical points worth noting: the RFS36 is purpose-built for the MCB36 and is not compatible with other models in the Crown Verity range. If you are running a different unit, confirm the correct shelf reference before ordering. Fitting is straightforward and does not require any separate installation work beyond attaching it to the barbecue itself.

This shelf is best suited to operators who use the MCB36 regularly for event catering, outdoor hospitality, or high-volume barbecue service and want to work more efficiently in the space around the grill. If you are putting together a broader outdoor station setup and want to talk through what accessories work well together, we are happy to help you get it right.

Frequently asked questions

Will the RFS36 fit any other Crown Verity barbecue models?

No — the RFS36 is designed specifically for the MCB36 and is not compatible with other models in the Crown Verity range. If you are running a different unit, it is worth checking the correct shelf reference before ordering to avoid a mismatch.

Is any additional installation work required to fit the shelf?

No separate installation is needed. The RFS36 attaches directly to the front of the MCB36, and the process is a straightforward fitting rather than a trade installation job.

Is this shelf practical for regular outdoor event use or just occasional service?

It is well suited to regular commercial use — operators running the MCB36 for event catering, outdoor hospitality, or high-frequency barbecue service will find it a practical addition to their setup. The removable design also makes it easy to manage during repeated pack-down and transport between events.
