These Onis stemless white wine glasses are a practical choice for hospitality operations that need reliable, everyday glassware. The stemless format gives the glass a lower centre of gravity than a conventionally stemmed wine glass, which reduces the risk of knocks during busy service and makes stacking and storage more straightforward behind the bar or in a glasswash area.
The bowl shape is well suited to white wine service, allowing a reasonable volume of liquid while leaving space for the wine to open up in the glass. The format also works well as an all-purpose soft drink or water glass, which can simplify glassware requirements for smaller venues or event catering where versatility matters.
From an operational standpoint, these glasses offer a few practical advantages worth noting:
- Stemless design reduces breakage risk during service and clearing
- Dishwasher safe, supporting efficient turnaround through a commercial glasswasher
- Covered by the Onis Rim Guarantee against chipping under normal use
- Uniform shape simplifies storage and reduces cupboard or shelf space requirements
- Supplied in a pack of six, practical for topping up existing stock
These are suitable for cafés, restaurants, wine bars, event caterers, and hospitality venues looking for a durable, no-fuss wine glass that performs reliably through a busy service. They are not a crystal or fine-dining option, but for everyday table service or informal settings they represent a sensible, practical choice.
If you are unsure whether these suit your service style or volume, or you are looking to standardise glassware across a site, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
Frequently asked questions
Are these glasses suitable for use in a commercial dishwasher or glasswasher?
Yes, these glasses are dishwasher safe and are designed to withstand the repeated wash cycles typical in commercial hospitality environments. As with all glassware, using the correct rack type and avoiding overloading will help prolong their condition.
What does the Onis Rim Guarantee actually cover?
The Onis Rim Guarantee is the manufacturer's assurance that the rim is produced to a standard that resists chipping under normal use and washing conditions. It is worth noting this applies to normal operational use rather than breakage from impact or mishandling.
Are these suitable for a fine-dining setting or are they better suited to casual service?
These are a practical, everyday wine glass rather than a crystal or thin-blown fine-dining option. They are well suited to casual dining, wine bars, cafés, event catering, and informal table service where durability and versatility are priorities over premium presentation.
