Steelite

Steelite Creations Metal Fry Basket 105x92mm Without Handle

£161.00(£193.20 inc VAT)

Unit price

The Steelite Creations metal fry basket is a compact serving basket designed for front-of-house presentation of fries, onion rings, bread, and similar small sides. At 105x92mm, it is sized for individual portions and is supplied without a handle, making it well suited to tray-based service or informal table settings where a handle would be impractical.

In busy restaurant and casual dining environments, presentation baskets like this see heavy daily use — repeated passes through commercial glasswashers and dishwashers, constant handling, and the occasional knock. The metal construction holds up well to the demands of a working kitchen pass and front-of-house service, maintaining its appearance over repeated cycles.

From an operational standpoint, this basket suits operators who want to move away from disposable or paper-lined crockery without committing to heavier or more expensive serveware. Key practical advantages include:

Compact footprint suits small plate and side-dish presentations
No handle keeps the profile low for tray or board service
Metal construction withstands daily commercial dishwasher use
Consistent sizing supports uniform plating across a team
Sold in boxes of 12, supporting straightforward stock management

There are no complex installation or utility requirements — these drop straight into your existing service workflow. Storage space is the main practical consideration; at box quantities of 12, ensure you have adequate shelving in your crockery store before ordering in volume.

This basket is well suited to casual dining restaurants, burger concepts, gastropubs, and any operation running an informal or sharing-style menu. For higher-volume operations needing a larger basket or a handled variant, alternatives are available within the Steelite Creations range.

If you are unsure which size or configuration best fits your service style, our team is happy to talk it through with you.
