The Churchill Alchemy small stacking crate risers are natural hardwood display accessories designed to work within the wider Alchemy buffet range. They sit beneath crates, boards, and serving pieces to create tiered height variation across a buffet or display table, giving operators the flexibility to build structured, visually layered presentations without investing in custom-built risers or fixed display furniture.

In practice, these risers are straightforward to reposition between services, which makes them well suited to operations where the buffet layout changes regularly — whether by meal period, event type, or cover count. The natural hardwood finish sits comfortably alongside the acacia wood pieces in the Alchemy range, maintaining a consistent look across the display. Sold as a pack of four, they provide enough units to vary height across several points of a single display run.

  • Creates tiered height variation across buffet and display layouts
  • Compatible with the wider Churchill Alchemy acacia wood range
  • Natural hardwood finish suits both casual and formal service settings
  • Lightweight and easy to reposition between services
  • Sold as a pack of four for practical coverage across a display

These risers are best suited to buffet and catering display use in hotels, event venues, restaurants, and contract catering environments where presentation consistency matters. They are a small, practical addition rather than a standalone display solution, and work best when used alongside other pieces from the Alchemy range to build a cohesive look.

If you are building out a fuller buffet display and would like guidance on how the Alchemy range fits together, the team is happy to help you put the right combination of pieces in place.

Frequently asked questions

Can these risers be used with items outside the Churchill Alchemy range?

They can physically support other serving pieces, but they are designed to complement the Alchemy acacia wood collection in terms of finish and proportion. Using them with items outside the range may produce a less consistent look depending on the materials involved.

Are these suitable for hot food display as well as cold?

These are display risers rather than heated or chilled units, so they are best suited to ambient and cold display settings. They are not designed to be used directly beneath heated serving equipment, and doing so is not recommended.

How many packs would typically be needed for a full buffet run?

That depends on the length of the display and the number of height levels you want to create. A single pack of four gives enough variation for a modest display section, while larger buffet layouts or multi-tier presentations will generally require additional packs. If you are planning a larger setup, it is worth speaking with us about the full Alchemy range to ensure the pieces work together as intended.
