This is a rectangular folding table from Bolero, designed for use at events, banqueting functions, and temporary dining arrangements. The top is made from ABS plastic — a hard-wearing material that resists knocks and is straightforward to wipe down between sittings. The steel frame provides structural rigidity without excessive weight, and the folding mechanism means the table can be stored flat when not in use.

In practical terms, these tables are commonly used by event caterers, hospitality venues, village halls, function rooms, and pop-up dining operations where furniture needs to be set up and cleared quickly. The ABS surface holds up well to repeated use and handles light spills without issue. The folding design keeps storage requirements manageable when a large number of tables need to be held in reserve.

  • Folds flat for efficient storage and transport between events
  • ABS top is easy to clean and resistant to everyday surface damage
  • Steel frame keeps the table stable under normal banqueting loads
  • Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in sheltered conditions
  • Available individually, making it easy to add to an existing set

It is worth noting that while this table is suitable for outdoor use, it is best kept in sheltered conditions rather than left exposed to prolonged wet weather. For permanent installations where tables will see daily heavy use, a more robust option may be worth considering.

If you are fitting out a function room or need to work out how many tables your layout requires, we are happy to talk it through before you order.

Frequently asked questions

How many of these tables would I need for a typical banqueting layout?

At six feet long, each table comfortably seats six guests in a standard banqueting arrangement, or up to eight if space is tight. For a room of 100 covers, most operators plan for 13 to 17 tables depending on layout, aisle width, and whether round tables are mixed in. It is worth sketching a rough floor plan before ordering to avoid shortfalls on the day.

Can these tables be used outdoors?

Yes, the ABS top and steel frame are both suitable for outdoor use, but they are best kept in sheltered conditions. Prolonged exposure to rain or standing water can affect the frame over time, so if the tables will regularly be used outside without cover, it is worth considering a more weather-resistant option.

Are these tables robust enough for daily use in a busy venue?

These tables are well suited to regular event and banqueting use, and the ABS top holds up well to repeated setting and clearing. For venues running multiple sittings every day or using tables as permanent fixtures rather than occasional event furniture, a heavier-duty folding or fixed table may offer better long-term durability.
