Glass Polishing Machines

The Buffalo Commercial Glass Polisher is a countertop unit designed to dry and polish glassware to a streak-free, professional finish quickly and consistently. Using fan-blown warm air in combination with five rotating polishing brushes, it works on the inside and outside of the glass simultaneously, handling most standard shapes and sizes used in commercial bar and hospitality environments.

In a busy bar or restaurant setting, hand-polishing glassware is time-consuming and, done poorly, leaves smears and watermarks that affect the presentation of drinks. This unit removes that bottleneck by automating the process, allowing staff to cycle through glassware at pace during pre-service preparation or during service itself. The result is consistently polished glasses without the reliance on individual technique or cloth quality.

Practically, the operational benefits are straightforward:

• Reduces the time and labour involved in polishing large volumes of glassware before service
• Delivers a consistent finish that hand-polishing rarely achieves at speed
• Works on most standard bar and wine glass profiles, including stemmed glasses
• Stainless steel construction is durable and straightforward to keep clean
• Compact enough to sit on a back-bar counter or prep surface without significant footprint

Installation is uncomplicated — the unit is mains-powered and requires no water connection or drainage. It needs a standard power supply and a stable, level surface. Weight at just over 15kg means it stays put during use but remains moveable when needed. There are no specialist installation requirements, making it practical for most sites.

This polisher is well suited to bars, restaurants, hotels, and event venues where glassware presentation matters and volumes are high enough to justify moving away from manual polishing. For very high-throughput operations running continuous service across multiple areas, it is worth considering whether a single unit meets the volume demand or whether more than one would be needed.

If you are unsure whether this unit fits your service volume or workflow, the team is happy to talk it through before you commit to a purchase.

The Spoonshine Wineshine GP5 is a motorised countertop glass polishing machine intended for bar and front-of-house use in commercial hospitality settings. Rather than relying on staff polishing by hand with cloths, the GP5 uses rotating brush sets to buff and dry glassware quickly and consistently, producing a streak-free finish with considerably less manual effort and more reliable results.

Hand polishing is one of the more time-consuming pre-service tasks in a busy bar or restaurant, and quality tends to vary when staff are under pressure. The GP5 mechanises the process, allowing a steady, repeatable throughput of polished glassware in the run-up to service. Two full brush sets are included with each machine, so polishing can continue without interruption while one set is being cleaned — a practical consideration during tight turnarounds.

The machine accepts interchangeable brush heads to accommodate different glassware profiles, making it suitable for venues running a variety of glass types across different service areas. Champagne flutes, highball glasses, tumblers, and pint sleeves can all be handled by selecting the appropriate configuration.

• Mechanises pre-service polishing, reducing manual labour and inconsistency
• Interchangeable brush heads handle multiple glassware types from one unit
• Two brush sets included, allowing uninterrupted operation during changeover
• Eliminates ongoing reliance on polishing cloths or disposable towels
• Consistent results regardless of staff experience or time pressure

The GP5 requires only a standard power supply and no specialist installation. It is a straightforward bar-back placement, though it is worth considering available worktop space and access during service before settling on a position.

This model is well suited to restaurants, hotels, bars, and event venues where glassware presentation matters and hand polishing has become a bottleneck. For very high-volume operations polishing several hundred covers per session, it is worth considering whether a single unit will comfortably meet throughput requirements, or whether additional capacity would be more practical.

If you would like to talk through how the GP5 would fit your service volumes and glassware range, the team is happy to help you think it through.
