The Hollowick Lampa charging tray is a dedicated storage and charging solution for magnetic-base rechargeable table lamps. Designed to hold up to six lamps simultaneously, it provides a single, organised point for keeping front-of-house lighting fully charged between sittings and throughout the service day.
In a busy restaurant environment, managing rechargeable table lamps individually can quickly become impractical. A dedicated tray keeps lamps consolidated, reduces the risk of them being left uncharged, and gives floor staff a reliable place to return lamps at the end of service. For venues running multiple sittings, having a full set of lamps charged and ready matters.
- Charges up to six lamps from a single tray
- Compatible with Hollowick Octa and Pirlo rechargeable table lamp ranges
- Magnetic-base connection — no cables to manage per lamp
- Compact footprint suits a bar counter, back-of-house shelf, or service station
- Helps maintain a consistent, well-presented table setting across service
It is worth noting that this tray ships with an EU plug, so a suitable adaptor or rewiring will be needed for use on UK sockets. The tray is designed specifically for compatible Hollowick magnetic-base lamps — it will not charge lamps from other manufacturers or non-magnetic Hollowick models. Lamps are sold separately.
This tray suits restaurants, hotels, and event venues that already use or are considering the Hollowick Octa or Pirlo rechargeable lamp ranges. For venues with larger lamp inventories or multiple service areas, it is worth discussing whether additional trays or a higher-capacity arrangement would be more practical.
If you are unsure which Hollowick lamps are compatible, or how many trays your operation needs, the team is happy to advise before you order.
Frequently asked questions
Which Hollowick table lamps are compatible with this charging tray?
The Lampa tray is designed for use with Hollowick's magnetic-base rechargeable lamps, specifically the Octa and Pirlo ranges. It will not charge non-magnetic Hollowick models or lamps from other manufacturers, so it is worth confirming compatibility before purchasing lamps and tray together.
The tray comes with an EU plug — can it be used in the UK?
The unit ships with an EU plug, so you will need a suitable plug adaptor or will need to have the lead rewired by a qualified electrician before use on UK sockets. This is a practical consideration to factor in before the tray arrives on site.
How many trays would a restaurant typically need?
That depends on your cover count and the number of lamps in use. A single tray holding six lamps may be sufficient for a smaller venue with one sitting, but operations running multiple sittings or larger dining rooms often find it more practical to have two or more trays to keep up with demand. If you are unsure, it is worth discussing your layout and service pattern with the team.
