The Emberton Bodmin is a compact, multi-function bedside unit designed for hotel and guest accommodation rooms. It combines an alarm clock, Bluetooth speaker, and wireless device charging pad in a single unit, reducing the number of separate items required on a bedside table and keeping the room feel tidy and uncluttered.
In a hotel environment, guest expectations around in-room technology have risen steadily. A unit like this addresses the most common guest requests — a reliable alarm, somewhere to charge a phone overnight without needing a cable, and the ability to play audio from a personal device — without requiring any complicated setup from housekeeping or front-of-house staff.
- Wireless charging removes the need for guests to locate proprietary cables
- Bluetooth pairing allows guests to use the speaker with their own devices
- Alarm clock function covers the core in-room requirement reliably
- Can be secured to the bedside unit via screw fitting with an anti-theft cable included
- Compact plastic construction keeps the unit lightweight and easy to handle during room servicing
Installation is straightforward — the unit requires a standard mains socket and sits on the bedside surface without wall fixing, unless the optional security fixing is used. The anti-theft provisions make it a practical choice for properties where in-room equipment loss is a concern. Its plastic construction keeps weight low, which is useful when managing large room inventories.
This unit is well suited to hotels, guest houses, and serviced apartments looking to consolidate bedside technology into a single, low-maintenance item. It is a mid-range option — properties with more demanding audio or charging requirements, or those outfitting premium suites, may want to consider a higher-specification unit before committing.
If you are equipping multiple rooms and want to talk through the right specification for your property type, the team is happy to help you think it through before you order.
